How Do I Show Both VAT Exc & Inc Prices on a Product?

Hi all,

I am a first time User on these forums, and I am after some help please:

I am looking for a way to show both VAT inclusive and VAT Exclusive prices on my products, but for the life of me, I cannot seem to find any settings that allow this.

I know in the "My Store" area there is the ability to set your products as VAT Exclusive OR Inclusive, but not both.

Lots of other Commercial websites use this facility, but it doesn't appear apparent or possible within ZenCart.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There is no switch that allow both tax included and tax exclusive prices to be displayed. You would need to dust of your PHP books, roll up your sleeves and go hunting in the includes/functions/functions_prices.php file for the functions that are calculating and preparing prices for display.

Hi - thanks for your reply! Since I posted up the question, I have taken advice from another ZenCart pro and she has effectively emulated what you are saying.

Looks like it is back to school for me then!

There is module you can download that does this for you.

I use this on sites that I create, and it works well.

Thanks for pointing this out iantopanto. That one had slipped in under my radar. I've had a quick look at it and it looks like an impressively comprehensive solution.

Many thanks for this! Looks like you may have saved me a lot of hard work!

I had a feeling that this must be possible (in an easy way), given that most commercial websites require both prices to be displayed for Customer VAT purposes.

Hello! ANY ideas why I can't make module iantopanto linked work? I guess I made the istallation right and I can see inc/ex and ex/inc options on admin panel, but when trying to use one of those, only price without tax is shown in both situations. I just can't understand. I'm running the newest version of ZC.
