products in cart accumulating

Hi
If a customer adds a product to their cart (say quantity 3), and then at a later date decides to add another (say) 5 of the same product. Is there anything in the configuration to allow us to display 2 line items, rather than it adding the quantities together and giving us one line item of 8 ??

No, the programming is not set up to do that. Why would you want to do that?

No. There is only one line per product, unless the different purchases have different attributes.
