Cold Steel Template Support Thread

Thanks Clyde,

I did your fix and now the category name does not show on the main categories, which is what I wanted!

However, now the category name is gone from the sub-categories as well, and I need those there. Is there a way to specify only the top level categories to apply this code fix to? Thanks again for your help and quick replies, it is much appreciated!

I just downloaded and installed your cold steel template in my website (http://www.www.fcndesigns.com/lucbansbest) and it really looks great. I like the design very much.. simple but cozy.

1. I have this problem about Google ads not appearing at the bottom of the page where i put it. Its in the footer position 3. What comes out is this code at the bottom of the page - <" + "/script>"); //--> -->.

The ad shows up when i put it in footer position 1 and 2 but still the error comes out. I want to put it in footer position 3 but i don't have any idea where the problem is.

2. Also, how is it done? How do you make a navigation bar appear on top of the page, between the main header and the body just like in your demo page ( i.e. new products, specials,etc.).?

Looks like you have an error in the script you are using:
make sure you've copied the exact code you got from google.

For the other: those are created using EZ-pages

make sure you turn on the EZ-pages header:
admin -> configuration -> EZ-Pages Settings -> EZ-Pages Settings (set to 1)

Then you'll need to create your EZ-pages internal links:
admin -> tools -> EZ-Pages

My mistake when I told you it was google ad that is having a problem displaying. It was actually another ad that is causing the problem, the code of which was taken from PhpAdsnew. I changed its invocation code so there's no more problem.

I also managed to add the header bar.

I just ran into a big problem! The footer, all of them do not show up.. the lower portion of my site don't show up. I can't recall what I was doing in the admin configuration so I can't get it back. Can you help? It's here - http://fcndesigns.com/lucbansbest.

This template is working really well for me, and I'm foolishly pleased with like the look of my new site (www.acmefibres.com). I'm still uploading products into it, but I think it's pretty much got the look I'm going to keep.
