Hi, thanks for your beautiful apparel_boutique template!! It's just beautiful, clean, and perfect!!
My question regards the slide show that is to appear on the home page. I've uploaded my images to the /includes/templates/apparel_boutique/images folder. For simplicity sake, I named my images to match what you had already defined in the 'define_main_page.php' page, i.e., slide1.jpg, slide2.jpg, etc. All images are the same height and width as you had defined as well.
Next, I defined the URLs in the 'define_main_page.php' to be 'www.mysite.com/catalogfolder' (not the actual "live" path, but didn't want to post that on here), but that's the path example.
Saved all, refreshed the site in my browser, but the slide show still doesn't appear. The only thing I've done differently that your instructions, were I just uploaded only two images to test the slide show out, before creating the actual images I'll use 'live.'
Any assistance you can provide is much appreciated. I'm sure I'm overlooking some minor detail.
I will be a financial contributor to your cause! Your work is excellent.
Thanks,
Please post a link to your site so that I can take a look.
I always appreciate any donation if you feel that the template has been useful
Re: Apparel Boutique Template Support Thread
I'm actually having a very similar problem except that I didn't rename any files. This occured on 12/15 from what I can see:
[21-Dec-2010 10:29:56] PHP Warning: htmlspecialchars() [<a href='function.htmlspecialchars'>function.htmlspecialchars</a>]: charset `CHARSET' not supported, assuming iso-8859-1 in /general.php on line 40
I have a similar posting here as well that goes into details - my admin category counts differ from what is seen in the online shop. I've found the descrepances and no matter what - if I delete or even add new items - the counters are not being updated but the db entries are. I'm confused and don't why this is happening.

The error message you have posted has nothing to do with the template package. You can do a search for your error to see if you can find help. The error is not related to the template since the /general.php file was not touched or included in the template package.
Re: Apparel Boutique Template Support Thread
hello, would you mind sharing which font you used on the logo?

Thanks, I appreciate your willingness to help. The link to the site is completeclassicpress.com/cat3. The site isn't live yet (I don't have the actual domain names pointing to it yet), but you can access it from that link. Site is still a work in progress, so product images are just place holders, so please don't judge :)
Thanks!
Ken

Re: Apparel Boutique Template Support Thread
Hi Anne:
Here's the contents of define_main_page.php, however, it's not located in the includes/languages/english/apparel_boutigue/html_includes folder, as there is no html_includes folder in the apparel_boutique folder. This define_main_page.php file is found in includes/languages/english/html_includes
Could be part of the problem, eh?

Should be:
includes/languages/english/html_includes/apparel_boutique/define_main_page.php
Sorry about that--it's been a long day!
Thanks
