Easy Populate 1.2.5.4 support

I have duplicated my store on my server as well, so I'm not actually doing this on my "real" store :)

If a product does not have a model number, you cannot manage it with Easy Populate. This will change with the soon to be released Advanced version.

I am not sure, if I am in the right thread, but - let's see:

I am selling photographs from my side, managing all the uploads with EP (EP Advance2.75b-ten-Cart 1.2.7) So far I am very happy about thist workflow. But - as all pictures are only downloadable files I am seeking for a way to set the proper information into the attributes-manager via EP, because I think it's a long job to add them all manually (some thousand pictures...) Can somebody give me a hint?

EP currently manages attributes poorly, and does not manage downloadable files yet - sorry!

thnks for your reply - maybe that one of the future versions will be able to manage these things ;-> ???? So now I will try to handle this issue via mySQL - I know, it will be not as comfortable as doing this with EP, but it is still better than "copy&pasting" some thousands of filenmaes...???

it will be a few days only, and yes it will include all of those extended product fields, as well as metatags, product types, option for products_id as index (instead of products_model), as well as deletion without deleting images (optional), and numerous improvements in date handling and other areas.

Does v_status = 9 in Easy Populates deletes the main pictures???

I have just lost 60-70 pictures when i seted v_status to 9

yes - it uses Zen Cart's native delete function, which also deletes images. The new one will not unless a different status is used.
