If I price via attributes in music, no price displays, it just says YOUR PRICE: Also Product Prices Second doesnt display.
Works great on the normal Product_info_display
Is there any files i can attach that might help?

I see the problem now... Didn't consider that... Easy fix... Copy the file jscript_ajax_updater.php from /includes/modules/pages/product_info to /includes/modules/pages/product_music_info/
And that should do it... Let me know how you get on

I am having the same trouble as gangees. I have added specials http://frompropertorocker.com/index....roducts_id=893 and they show up just fine but on the sales it doesn't show up right in the product description page.

You can see it when you go that page that it quickly shows a slash and then the sale price (like it's supposed to ) but then it vanishes and you just see the price (once it's done loading). The price that shows is the sale price.

Yes, I know this is not a simple matter by having stock saldos dynamically there as well but it would be excessively handy and cool. Definitely would lift up the whole ZenCart in a new level. Hi I installed and it's working but I have an issue. My starting price is 0 and in that case the addon does not work. I have the option to fix to starting price to 1 and it will work but I will need disable the add cart when the price is 1. How to disable the button "add to cart"? Something like "if the price > 1 then addtocart=true else =false. I'm not good on php and I need help to fix the issu.
I am running 1.3.9.H, and I am having a problem with this update. I had the old version of dynamic updater, so I went to put the _ under the file jscript_updater.php
Next I loaded all of the new files but now I get an error when loading any product page.
Status returned - not found
This error is removed when I delete the jscript_ajax_updater.php

I installed the Dynamic Price Updater onto my site. I followed the readme.txt file and put the three files in their proper places. If you look at my site: www.calzuro.com/new/store you will notices that the spinning icon shows up but when I click one of the options the price does not dynamically change. Does anyone know why or how to fix this?

I had the same problem with it, but fortunately I got hold of an old version which does not use the ajax feature, so I installed that instead.
Unzip this, and load it to:
modules\pages\product_info\
Make sure to REMOVE the other version first...
(Use at your own risk... I am not the author of this file).

Secondly... I should indeed have checked to see if the original version was available, but pressed for time I had a zip of the old one so just quicly attached that to my message (above).
When you are feeling better (and certainly after Christmas), I'll try the new ajax version again and perhaps we can work out why it's not functioning on my 1.3.9h install.

Happy Holidays, I downloaded your module and enabled SideBox feature. Everything seems to be working just fine with on exception. I have 10 options for one of my product and after selecting 5 or 6 options the sidebox is not updating and it hangs displaying processing image. Are there any limitations? If i disable sidebox your DPU mod is working just fine..

Found a new situation.:oops:
I've installed Ultimate Cross Sell module, and now DPU randomly shows the price from cross-sell items at the same page, not the "main item".
For example, the main item is $20, and cross-sell item is $10, then DPU will show the main item as $10 only. The good news is, it's still $20 when added to the shipping cart.

I don't think this has been posted before, I checked and nothing came up.
I was having problems with define('DPU_SHOW_CURRENCY_SYMBOLS', true);
If I used true it wouldn't update the price. If I set it to false there was no currency symbol but it updated.
To correct this I changed localization/currencies - symbol from $ toI then changed all the other currencies to the html number and it works fine.Code:$

I've installed the DPU with msrp support. It works partially good. As you can see here : http://www.fantozzi.net/arredoshop/a...erta-p-21.html , If no attributes selected, the normal price, discont and final, are ok . If you select a "pay attribut", the discount decrease, because the normal price remain as the attribute would not exist (sorry for my english, hope i've been clear). There is a solution on it ?? This is great module and it is really what i wanted in my website. But after installing it I got some problem with it. I can see "Your Price : £213.44(1)" two times on my product info page. Please refer attached image to get more idea.

Got it all working, client happy. Moved the whole site to their server. And now whenerver a dynamic price update would take place, I get a popup with "Status returned - not found".
Bit of digging in the debug console and it appears that a post is being made looking for dpu_ajax.php in the top level domain rather than in the root of the catalog.
Any ideas?

Is it possible to modify DPU to work on the Product Listing page?
I’m using ZC 1.5 and DPU is working just fine on the product info page so GoldBuckle it does work, sorry can’t be much more help.
I have modified the product listing page in a couple of ways to get the kind of look/functionality I’m looking for . Basically there are two different module installation scenarios I’ve tried.
1. Options on Product Listing v2.0 MOD
2. column_layout_grid_v_1_3_8 MOD with flexible_product_listing_1_0_prelim ADDON and DD-FPL v1.1 ADDON
Both ways work fairly good but I can’t figure out how to get DPU to work with any of them. Has anybody had any experience with this or can maybe help?

Ok I have a problem...I am running v1.5 with DPU but things are not adding up correctly:
I have a product with no base price - priced by attributes
My first attribute has 2 options:
+$0.10 with one time charge of $17.50
+$0.15 with one time charge of $17.50
with either one of these above options everything add up correct
the next option is for
+$0.01 with one time charge of $20.00
here is where the problem starts:
with the first option of attribute 1 everything is fine
add the second option and instead of the price increasing it is decreasing...any one know why????

Has anyone run into the problem where the prices will filter correctly on the All Products page but not on the Category page? See http://jbj.ciasolutions.ca/
When I click the 14K Gold Filled Collection category and then filter by price of $299-$399 it should filter out the item of $694 but it doesn't. In the All Products the filtering does work. I have Ceon 1.20 installed but they seem to be working together well.
In my web console I am getting a ReferenceError: $ is not defined on line 2 of the file /includes/templates/classic/jscript/dynamic_filter/jquery.dynamic_filter.min.js
It has that error on the All Products page and that works so I wasn't too concerned, but I thought I would mention it.

btw glad you're up and about i had read previous that you were under the weather a bit... I will add a special real quick so you can see what i'm talking about. The Apex Predator is now listed at a special price. I've had to do some serious work to get my store looking half-way decent. Still saved me a few weeks of coding it all myself.

I just got my site shut down by hosting as they say /dpu_ajax.php is using too many server resources
My site gets 1000 page views per day and according to AW stats this file gets requested over 10,000 times

Can you suggest a way i can reduce the load - is there something wrong with the module or did i do something wrong myself?

Creamcrackers: This is a first... The Updater is called every time an attribute is altered, which results in quite a few calls to the dpu_ajax.php file... That's a fairly low-rent file, however, and only performs the same actions as the add-to-cart button... It shouldn't occupy enough resources to be even noticed... Hi Dan, I have your Dynamic Price Updater mod installed and works great, however I have attributes set up to add a percentage of the main product price or the first attributes price to the cart using the idea found here http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.p...92#post1159692 from infocom.
This works great and goes through the shopping cart correctly, however I cannot get it to work with Dynamic Price Updater
This is the scenario
Product Price £749.00
Attribute X 15% of product price which displays at £112.35 on the attribute option on the product page.
So 749 + 15% of 749 (112.35) = 861.35
That is exactly what is added to the shopping cart and that goes through all the payment pages as well.
So what I would like is for the 15% of 749 (112.35) to be added onto 749.00 by the price updater on the products page.
By the way I think this is because the price updater thinks 112.35 is 0.00 even though it displays as 112.35
Sorry to bother again but yet i haven't found a solution to the error of "Variable passed to each() is not an array..." in my logs. Here the exact lines:

Why its not calculating if product price zero ( 0 ). Each attributes 4.-.
I do not know why, but if I have a product that is 0 for base price is enter 0,0001 in the input box. This way the mod can be fooled to work, and the 0,0001 is almost nothing :)Quote:
