This is probably an easy one.
What section controls the Font Size and Color of the category names?
www.NothingButCostumes.com
You can put font properties in any of the rules, depending on exactly how you want to differentiate the font display. For the most basic all-categories control, use #categories ul a {}. Then for particular cases, you can add font properties to other rules.
ben harry - The code I posted there was the output to the browser, and will not be found like that in any file.
When you posted the code from your other site's tpl_categories.php, I realized that your version of Cat Dressing was older (v2.6) and had different code at the end of the categories list. Pasting in the code from the current version only works because you do not have a subcategory as the last item in the list. If that does happen, it will break the categories box.
Your best bet is to upgrade to the latest version. You don't need to replace the stylesheet or defines files; just replace tpl_categories.php and categories_dressing_functions.php.
Discussion of category active/level display happening in the how would I make the categories expand? thread (starting at post 34), with some additional functionality explained.
Hi Ya, you were replying to my thread earlier on, in regards to adding a non-linked word into the category list and validating errors, i can happily say i have re-installed the mod with 0 validating errors............ im not too sure if this question should be here or not but i now have the non linked word in place at the very top of the list, now i would like to rearrange the category list, at the moment its in standard alphabetical order, but i would like to split the list up.
An Example
Cat Box Heading
Alloy Wheels
Clutch
Steering
Cat Box Heading
Air Filter
Cam Shafts
Fuel System
Cat Box Heading
Gear Knob
Hand Brake Handle
Steering Wheel
How would i go about doing the above.
Thanks
Ben

Hi again.
I've got another problem ...
I've added a long category, and need to move left the category titles so to center better the
"Casa Universale Giustizia"
over here: editricebahai.com
I tired playing with margins, and paddings, but couldn't figure out how.
Thank you.
You have an admin setting still active, which is giving increased space with each subcategory level.
Admin > Configuration > Layout Settings > Categories SubCategories Indent
Change the to nothing.
