Re: MultiSite Module Support Thread
Ok ...I went and configured the mod files for this address anyway and it is working. DUH
My configuration shown above must be correct.
I tried doing this same thing yesterday and it didn't work so must have made an error somewhere else along the line.
Thanks pink for redirecting me back to something I had previously tried.
Re: MultiSite Module Support Thread
Did you remember to create the site_config files for both sites under the new "includes/config_sites" directory?

Thanks Louis, I did.
I don't know where my error was when I previously tried but whatever it was I didn't make it again this time, because it is working now.

are you adding <!--site1--> manually to each category, or are you using
tools > multi-site tools > Display the relations Categories/Sites to add it?

I don't know yps I've just muddled through installing this mod myself.
When in
tools > multi-site tools > Display the relations Categories/Sites
are you adding site1 without the <!-- -->
the tool adds them automatically
are you using the correct name

try using just the name, site1 without using the <!-- --> using the tools > multi-site tools > Display the relations Categories/Sites

Then the category box is empty
PHP Code:
define('SITE_NAME','shop');
define('CATEGORIES_ROOT','1'); //root categories is 1 for this site
