NO, support hasn't vanished, but I think Blindside is pushing hard to get the new updated version out. Let me try to help

The TYPE box is the payment type and is usually the credit card name if you are refunding the money via the customer's credit card. It is the list which you can set via Admin>Localization>Payment Types. For example, I have added one called "Adjustment". You could add one called "Refund". It will not affect the credit card account because SO does not communicate with the credit card gateway. You have to do that separately.

The NUMBER box is supposedly the payment number which is at the beginning of the payment line. I find that nothing is entered when the customer pays via credit card, but a number is there when they use PayPal. Again, it just seems to be for reference purposes so you can enter whatever you like.

You can also do a refund or adjustment by using the "Edit Order Totals" popup and entering a negative amount and a reason of "Refund" or "Credit", etc

I see there's been a bug fixed regarding product sort order on a purchase in 1.3.8, that's not Super orders-related, but I'm hoping for a quick patch before I can get around to upgrading to 1.3.8a

Using Zen 1.3.8

I had the mode set to Authorize instead of Capture. But now when I go into the order and fill out the "Capture Transaction" fields, it doesn't do anything! So now I have 6 orders I can't get the money from. Please help.

I had to go into linkpoint to Capture the funds. But it should work in Zen Cart as the box states. Otherwise it's misleading to what can be done!

Dr. Byte explained how the new refund feature in 1.3.8a works (see http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=100758), we've tested it fairly extensively, and it works very nicely indeed. He also said:

I've tried to revert back to the original /admin/orders.php page by removing the Super Orders edits in:

[FONT=Verdana]admin/includes/boxes/customers_dhtml.php
[/FONT] [FONT=Verdana]includes/filenames.php [/FONT]

but nothing has changed. Although the "Orders" option appears again in Admin -> Customers, it still goes to SO. Since none of the other file edits seem to point to super_orders instead of orders, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I really like almost everything about Super Orders, but the new refund feature in 1.3.8a is a BIGGIE, so Super Orders will have to go if I can't get refunds to work properly.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction, please? Thanks!

I tried installing the Super Orders mod today, and things did not go well. When I try to log in I get a screen with this:

The store works, but I am unable to access Admin. There were some other problems, too, but I can't be too specific about the missing files until I can log in and see the file names again.

Solved! Re-installed SO and changed [FONT=Verdana]includes/filenames.php back to what it was before SO install. Now get most of SO features, but still retain 1.3.8a's refund feature.

Hi

I have a couple of questions I hope people can help me with.

1) How can I find out which version of super orders I have installed ?

2) I have a shop on a very old version of zen. Don't gasp but version 1.2.5. No comments please. On this version I had super orders installed. This version has "adv order managment" as the title under customers, so obviously things have changed. This version allowed me to edit all parts of an order, including the description and the product individual price. In fact there was vertually nothing you could not edit on the order. When looking at the newer version this does not look possible to do. Can someone please tell me if this is the case. If this is not possible, is there another contribution that can do this ?
