Okay, this may be a stupid question...but why won't the US version of QBI work with the Canadian Quickbooks? I live in Alberta so there is only one tax....is it the double tax that is the issue?Quote:

Be much appreciated.
I do not include the user manual in doc format, since it is copyrighted (documentation is not part of the GPL) and I want to assure that it is not reused or altered. Surely you must be able to find a computer that can open pdf files and at least print it out! I'd think there would even be a pdf reader for linux, since it is an open format.Quote:

I have not had time to investigate all the different international QB versions yet. You can of course go ahead and try it -- if QB doesn't like it, it will tell you with error messages when you try to import the iif file.Quote:

Hi All,
I will be on vacation July 1 through August 15. I'll try to check the forum every few days, but bug fixes and work on international versions will have to wait until I return. I hope this is not a great inconvenience!
Thanks,
Adam
Can this import orders as Sales Orders?
Thanks.
Yes, you can set it up to import orders that are paid online as sales orders.Quote:

Hi, I'm trying to upload my lists file, but I keep receiving this message even though the folders are set to 777:
***********
File upload failed! Check that the permissions settings for your qbi_input directory are set to read/write/execute or chmod 777
***********
I will try to ftp the file now instead and see how that works.
It doesn't sound like a QBI issue -- yes, check you server settings, and make sure that file uploads are enabled in PHP and that the temp directory that PHP uses for file uploads is set up properly. You can ftp the file to the directory and QBI will recognize it just the same -- but make sure you call it lists.iifQuote:

When Importing into QB it is putting any company name that is more than one word (Wireless Retail group) into one (ie WirelessRetailGroup)
Any way to keep it the original w/ spaces?
It just sux cause its making new customers for people I have already dealt with that are setup in QB.
Thx - Dave
