moving that many product would best be done with easy populate......I haven't used it as our store doesn't have that many products requiring the use of easy populate.....it could also be done by selectively exporting out of the DB the correct info from the right product tables......This would not be for the faint of heart. Would need to see to be able to do it, don't think I could talk you through it.
You haven't lost me, but this I will have to tackle in the morning. It sounds not that hard....They are go directions.... Talk to you soon..

good night . I'm might be a bit busy tommorrow.
Thanks Mike the info you past along on the attributes worked fine....one question for you when you get some time....... when I put a product in, that you can get in three sizes ..... I add it once and then a drop down box with all three sizes and there prices in the drop down box is well. My question is... When I add a price next to the product (starting at $30.00) and then choise the size it adds the price next to the picture and the price for the product that is in the drop down menu. I hope that helps you......Go to http://mydoggilicious.com/cart/index...dex&cPath=16_2
then click on Wagging Tongue Dog Bowl and you can see what I mean...
Thank you and God bless

Hi, this one is an easy fix. Go to the product page...the one where you set up the product originally.....scroll down and set "price by attribute" to true and then remove the price in the boxes below that...then preview...then update.
Understand that currently the cart can NOT track stock by attributes. So if you have 150 bowl (50 xsm, 50 sm, 50med) and you sell a med one it will remove stock from the 150 total. This functionallity is supposed to be in the next major update.
I would also go back into the attributes controller and go to the little box with the + in it and clear that box. Also change the sort order so that its x-sm, sm, med in the dropdown instead of med. sm, x-sm
It also might be good change form a dropdown to radio buttons since there is only three choices. If you check my site you will also see that I have an option that says "Please choose:" and it is the default but not allowed to be added to cart. That forces the customer to choose an option, cause there are those that will just hit add to cart without picking the correct size and end up with the wrong product. Go to one of my products, leave defaults and hit add to cart and you'll see the error.
Mike,
that worked..... I never knew how to do that, thank you. I will get back with you in a while going to spend some needed family time....Thank you and God bless you and your family in all that you.
