SitemapXML v.2

Hi.

I just installed the Sitemap XML v.2 module. I think everything is fine, but the "sitemap.xml" in the root folder is empty. With other websites I've designed, this is usually full, or has something in it. I would think that this file in the rootfolder would have code that points to the xml files in the in the "sitemap" folder? There's is no document tree or code that points to these other xml files.

I am a bit confused by this instruction:
"You can specify the location of the Sitemap using a robots.txt file. To do this, simply add the following line:
Sitemap: http://<your_shop_url>/sitemapindex.xml
This directive is independent of the user-agent line, so it doesn't matter where you place it in your file.
If you have a Sitemap index file, you can include the location of just that file. You don't need to list
each individual Sitemap listed in the index file"
This url points to my site's site map and not the index of the sitemaps (sitemap.xml) which I think is what we need to give to Google, right?

I installed XMLSitemap in a multilingual environment how ever i only see English results in Google.

In XML provides links to products in two languages - http://chequesplus.com/sitemap/sitemapproducts.xml

includes\languages\english\*.* to includes\languages\YOUR_language\*.*
YOUR_Admin\includes\languages\english\*.* to YOUR_Admin\includes\languages\YOUR_language\*.*
and translate it.

I won't access The plugin in french from the admin interface, do i still need to translate YOUR_Admin\includes\languages\english\*.* to YOUR_Admin\includes\languages\YOUR_language\*.*

And in the original plugin contribution, there's English and Russian but the /includes/languages/english/sitemapxml.php doesn't differ from the /includes/languages/russian/sitemapxml.php

If the translation in French is not needed, do not translate.

Thank you! The change to the .htaccess file worked for me as well. I am using 1.3.9.h, and the original .htaccess file for 1.3.9.h does incude the xsl and XSL; however, my .htaccess file must have been overwritten at some point, because I needed to add it back in again to get past the style sheet error.
