Re: Ceon URI Mapping v4.x
Yeah im just looking in the includes\classes\class.CeonURIMappingAdminCategoriesProducts.php not admin/includes...
The only functions I have are:
Line 59: CeonURIMappingAdminCategoriesProducts
Line 80: getCategoryOrProductPath
Line 180: getCategoriesOrProductsURIMappingTemplate

Re: Ceon URI Mapping v4.x
So what happens if the URL in the database already ends with a "/"?
Re: Ceon URI Mapping v4.x
Oh I just realised, I have the UMM edition now. I just checked either file and that function isn't actually in the UMM edition but it is in the standard edition. It must be located somewhere else!

Theres code that strips of the "/" at the end of the url when you specify it so there shouldn't be any uri's ending with / in the database.

Interesting. You probably will also want to add some additional handling to create a 301 when the URL is entered without the trailing "/" (to act similiar to how Apache acts when encountering a folder).

That could be a problem :) This is only meant to be a very rough and ready, does the job but might break stuff, sorta solution BTW
Re: Ceon URI Mapping v4.x
and at the risk of beating the proverbial dead horse here..
I'm going to ask again WHY is the addition of the trailing slash thought to be NECESSARY?? is there a business reason?? there's a lot of effort being put into figuring out how to add functionality and it's not clear what is thought to be the GAIN..
Native Zen Cart URLs do not have a trailing slash, major retailers URLs do not have a trailing slash, the Zen Cart FORUM URLs do not end with a trailing slash.. So WHY is this such a "must have"???
Lastly the UMM version of Ceon URI is a commercial module and therefore support for it is not allowed on this forum per the forum rules.. Conor himself when he was alive NEVER supported the UMM version here either..
So as I stated earlier if Danny REALLY NEEDS this he needs to go back to JSWeb for the answer/solution.. alternatively, he can discuss with whomever wants to assist via PM..
Re: Ceon URI Mapping v4.x
Now that conor is deceased how can we buy the "pro" version of this plugin? I want all my url's generated automatically.
Im also interested in his "Ceon Product Variants", does he have a business partner somewhere or something? Id like to buy that too.
Re: Ceon URI Mapping v4.x
After a bit of digging I found
This module was originally being developed by Conor @ CEON - unfortuantely he unexpectantly pasted away in Dec 2012 just before it was released.
JSWeb, who have worked with Conor for a good number of years, have been asked to continue the distribution of CEON modules and one that we are very keen finished is the CEON Product Variants.

and not to be a nag, but any discussions regarding the CEON commercial products and the Product Variants module in particular is off topic for this support thread.. Suggest you contact JSWeb directly..
