Are you asking if shipping weight or the product description can appear inside the hover display INSTEAD of the image or you want the product description/shipping weight to appear in the hover WITH the image?? Because if what you are looking for is some kind of fancy/enhanced text hover (vs an image hover), that kind of functionality is well outside the bounds of this mod as it is an image management/image display mod..

The image hover is beautiful.
I just wanted to add the description into it and maybe even the shipping weight.
That way, customers browsing my products, can see a larger image with its full description...

Okay.. just wanted to make sure what you are asking about is clear.. I'm sure this is possible.. Hopefully one of the more knowledgeable heads here knows the solution and will chime in..:smile:

It is doable and someone has done it or something extremely similar, but they never shared and i cannot for the life of me find the thread as it was outside of the Image handler support threads.
Thinking about it, it shouldn't be that difficult for someone knowledgeable to do, just a bit time consuming

I've searched through IH2 and IH3 threads but couldn't find an answer to this quick question, so......
Does IH3 allow you to specify a title for additional images?
I'd like the alt and title text to be different for each of my additional images so when you hover over them you get different pop up text.

This is similar to what chaiavi was asking about.. I'm afraid that the answer to this is the same one as what nigel and I provided to chaiavi. (see posts just above this one..)

It's a shame....it would be nice to be able to write 'Side View', 'Top View', etc when the user zooms the different images in.
There's an Additional Image Titles mod but the only problem with that is you have to code the titles in a language file :(

You could always embed the titles in the images themselves. Just add a text layer to the images in Photoshop or some other graphics program.

We just upgraded a cart from 1.3.5 to 1.3.9. Old cart had IH2, new cart has IH2. There was a curious behavior where products would not display if the image associated was over 450k. This is still the case and I hope it's not related.
Customer went to load a 2MB image via IH to an existing product and the image did not compress. The result was that the full 2MB image loaded, thereby killing the product. It would not display within IH either.
Will installing IH3 likely take care of this?
