Hi
Thank you for taking time to help me with this problem. :D
I have checked all the files several times and every singel file is in the right catalog.
http://englerogdemoner.no/index.php?main_page=
Is there anything else i can do to get this menu working?
Br
Frank
No, I promise you, everything is not right, otherwise it would be working. Make sure all the folders are spelled correctly, and capitalization counts. The menu isn't able to use all files, this is your problem. If you're not using english, be sure to change the name of the language folder to your language name.
Is there a way I can add a drop down limit so the drop down forms a second column instead of running out of browser window?

You can see what I'm talking about here under the "college"... Please help!
I had this great mod working perfectly, but now the catagories are showing between my header and the CSS menu bar. Have I done something stupid or is there an easy way to remove them?

Hi,
I have added the CSS Dropdown menu to Cherry-Zen. The menu displays ok but the site shows as stretched 100% and the fluid width facility is not working.
I have re-checked that I have done everything in the read-me file and reloaded but without success.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
JohnD
I have got this mod to work fine, but I would like to be able to create a menu like http://www.ae.com. Is this possible and could you offer some guidance. I have all the html/css working. I don't know how to structure the files such as the DB calls and other .php files that would be needed. Please help if you can.
First, thanks for this great mod! Just what I was looking for. Now, for the question. :wink:
I want to take out the "Categories" link in the top bar and replace it with the actual categories. I opened tpl_drop_menu.php but the code for the categories drop down is a bit beyond me–not too familiar with PHP. How can I do this?
Paul's Edition worked great! Thanks! With 122 pages it's bit hard to find all the answers. ;)
I tried searching this thread for my answer but vBulletin wasn't allowing me to search "right align" and only "align". Basically, my question is, how do I get the top level to align to the right instead of the left? Tried playing it but couldn't figure it out.
Hi all,
I'm having a problem getting the 1.5 version to work in IE6. I have followed the instructions for .htaccess. My host is running MySql 4.1.22, php 5.25, suexec & phpsuexec.
I'm using SEO Urls. Turning the urls off doesn't fix it. IE7, safari, firefox and others work fine.
If you need any other info please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
John
Yes. It's in Includes.
Thanks,
John
If my understanding is correct, csshover.htc and the additions to .htaccess is what makes it work with IE 6. Did you follow these parts of the instruction:I'm new to CSS Dropdown as well so it's a bit of the blind leading the blind. Hopefully someone else can help answer your problem.Code:4. The .htc file is required for IE browsers pre ver. 7. However, IE has 2 issues with the .htc file:
1. it must stay within the same domain it is called from - note* www.yourdomain.com and yourdomain.com are TWO different domains to IE
2. it must be served as mime type text/x-component from your server
The included sample .htaccess file has code to:
1. 301 redirect all www.yourdomain.com to yourdomain.com (you can reverse it if you like just so only one of them is being used)
2. have the .htc file servered using the correct mime type
(If your domain is not hosted on an apache server, you'll need to do the above differently)
Hey guys,
I just installed this plugin and I am having some issues. Here is the test site, Vibrant Instrumentals.
One of the problems is the margin on the CSS Menu. I would like to make it 25px from the top and 92px from the bottom. I been messing around and when I do actually succeed at setting this margin, the whole block is gray and blocks my background images.
I would like to set the margin for the whole CSS menu to margin: 25px 0px 92px, make everything have a black background, not block my background image, and lastly can someone tell me where to edit all the HEADER_TITLE's? I use custom pages as you can see on the site.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Sorry for the multiple questions, I am not very talented at CSS, heh.
- Jason
Just wanted to let you guys know, I got the margin to work now. Instead of editing the menu's css sheet, I edited the template stylesheet and added margin-top: 92px auto to #logoWrapper.
I am still having trouble finding out how to change the HEADER_TITLE and I strted to wonder if adding an image behind the menu buttons is possible?
Thanks in advance!
- Jason
After messing around for a few hours, I figured them all out on a test site. The header's turned out to just need some editing in headermenu.php. Last remaining question is can I add images behind the buttons and can I add lines or the border between each button without it having to be arranged with an odd one out?
- Jason
Anyone?
Yes I installed it correctly. My site is in my sig.
Thank you,
John
Hi. I think nosleephotel was onto something:
Quote:

You do not seem to be using a seperate stylesheet for the header menu. I have looked at your main stylesheet.css and the header menu css is merged into it. However I cannot see :
body {
behavior: url(includes/csshover.htc);
}
Are you sure you have followed the instructions?
Craig
I have added the styles from the header sheet to my sites main sheet. Could that be what's causing the problem?
**EDIT**
I guess so! I completely overlooked the " behavior: url(includes/csshover.htc);" in the body call. Thank you so much for that. It works now!
John
Help! I just moved my site to another host and I am having a problem when I reinstalled the mod. It no longer displays the Home, Categories, Information... It only displays the sub-categories. Here is my site. http://www.garlandskinandbody.com/index.php?main_page=
Why would this be happening? Any help would be GREAT!!!
Thanks!
I need a little help positioning the dropdown menu. I want to have the whole menu right aligned (not the individual text in each menu item). Can someone help me with this?
Hi, I am working on my zen cart site and I have searched the forums and no answer. I installed the css_horizontal_drop_down_menu_1-5
and I changed the CSS and content to what I wanted for my site, but it is not displaying properly in Internet Explorer 7. It works fine in Firefox and Safari. I am sure it is a CSS issue and I have tried to fix it to no avail. I did try to make the text smaller thinking it may why IE is pushing the content to two lines, nothing changed. I tried removing some of the links to see if there were too many and that was causing the issue, but it only looked worse in IE and worse in Firefox, which was strange. I keep reading in the forums that this add-on looks beautiful in IE. Does anyone have any advice?
The development site is live at http://www.divaliciouschocolate.com/dev/store/
It is about 75% complete and needing more CSS tweaking and images added so please remember it is a work in progress....
Mine is a new installation Zen Cart 1.3.8a
My website is currently only locally on my computer
Server OS: Windows NT DELL-024B1D4ABD 5.1 build 2600
Database: MySQL 5.0.51a
Database Host: localhost (127.0.0.1)
PHP Version: 5.2.5 (Zend: 2.2.0)
HTTP Server: Apache/2.2.8 (Win32) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.8 OpenSSL/0.9.8g mod_autoindex_color PHP/5.2.5
Thanks for your help and I look forward to hearing back from you

Hi There,
first of all, you have a ton of drop menu items... it may be difficult to fit them all.
Now notice, that this section in stylesheet_header_menu.css starts out looking like this:
This is designed for 6 drop down menu items across. Now that you've decided to make it 8 items across, you need to change that 16.667 and 16.649 to reflect your change. 100 / 6 = 16.667, 100 / 8 = 12.5. So your section above should look something like this (the *width:16.649 is for IE only, it needs to be a bit smaller to fit):Code:div#dropMenu li {
position:relative;
list-style:none;
margin:0;
float:left;
line-height:1em;
width:16.667%;
*width:16.649%;
}
You can try adjusting the 12.25 to a slightly smaller number if it doesn't work.Code:div#dropMenu li {
position:relative;
list-style:none;
margin:0;
float:left;
line-height:1em;
width:12.5%;
*width:12.25%;
}
You currently have this:
Simply replace this with the chunk above.Code:div#dropMenu li {
position:relative;
list-style:none;
margin:0;
float:left;
line-height:1em;
width:auto;
margin-right:2em;
padding-left: .1em;
*width:16.649%;
}
Thanks for getting back to me. I tried it and now the menu bar is displaying on two line in IE and Firefox.
I tried removing the extra drop down menu items and it didn't work any better in IE and I tried making the font smaller and that did fix it either.
When I changed width:auto for the IE hack as well that made it fit to one line although the text "shopping cart" is wrapping and making the bar taller. But that looks better already!
Thanks,
Jackie
I played with the width and fixed it with this code:
div#dropMenu li {
position:relative;
list-style:none;
margin:0;
float:left;
line-height:1em;
width:auto;
margin-right:1.2em;
padding-left: .85em;
*padding-left: .45em;
}
Now I am having a problem with the drop down menus. The background color is not filling in the entire space. There is a weird clear gap to the right in IE and Firefox when the boxes drop and then a gap on the left on hover.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Jackie
Hello, Love the hard work put into this mod for all of us !! Just wondering , and went through a lot of this post, but i must of missed this ..
Can you tell me how to change the home link? I would like when you click on home, it takes me to my original homepage and not the catalog home page. So in essence, I would like when someone clicks on home, it takes them to www.jygoods.com
Thanks a lot !!!! :D
I am really challenged by the Fly Out Menu. I need some help. As it is now, all the high level categories are veritically under 1 tab called categores.
What i need is help on taking this Addon Fly Out Menu and make it work so that each first level category is a separate menu tab.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks
Sure. Easy Peasy. Open up includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/common/tpl_drop_menu.php and change this:
to this:Code:<li class="submenu"><a href="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG; ?></a>
Code:<li class="submenu"><a href="http://www.jygoods.com"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG; ?></a>
Hi jettrue how would you go about slowing down the speed of the menu. Mine is to fast. Thank you
Oh Ok thank you for your answer. I was just wondering because you have to be fast at what your doing or you slip off the categories in a hurry...lol
countrycharm,
Sounds like you have some spacing between your top bar and the drop down menu. I've had that before and would have to move the mouse quickly to keep the dropdown. So the solution is to get rid of the padding or margin that is keeping your top bar and the dropdown from being flush.
Thanks for you help. How would I go about doing that? Would it be in the css file. I worked on this a while back when I first installed it but I don't remember what I did ....lol. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I would recommend grabbing the original stylesheet_header_menu.css and starting over or at least comparing it with your modified version. Do you have a link to the site so we can see it?
Help! I've added some menu items to the main menu bar, but can't seem to get the new dropdowns to work in firefox (2.0.0.17) - it works fine in IE (7.0). The original dropdowns work fine in both.
Code as follows...
So, you can see the menu as followsCode:<li class="submenu"><a ="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_ABOUT_CHOCOLATE); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_ABOUT_CHOCOLATE; ?></a>
</li>
<ul class="level2">
<li><a href="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_SHIPPING); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_SHIPPING_INFO; ?></a></li>
</ul>
<li class="submenu"><a href="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_ABOUT_US); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_ABOUT_US; ?></a>
</li>
<li class="submenu"><a ="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_INFORMATION; ?></a>
<ul class="level2">
<?php if (DEFINE_SHIPPINGINFO_STATUS <= 1) { ?>
<li><a href="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_SHIPPING); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_SHIPPING_INFO; ?></a></li>
<?php } ?>
About Chocolate : About Us : FAQs
The dropdown for the FAQs works fine so I pasted the shipping dropdown code to also show in About Chocolate as a test. Works fine in IE, but nothing in Firefox. Anyone have any idea why, it's driving me crazy.
Sorry there is no link, only working on hone dev machine at the moment.
Thanks,
Adam.
Thank jettrue for looking at my site. One more question for you. I have ask you this before I believe. In IE7 when you mouse over home, the menu bar shifts to the left and you can see a long white space on the right of the menu bar. In FF and Safari you don't see this. Thank you for your help.
This has the potential to be a really nice and extremely useful mod once it has been finished.
At the moment, once installed, you end up with one category that has no header (and no, it is not possible to add one - it simply won't display), Categories, Information, Contact Us categories, and two categories that contain nothing, have no titles and which also cannot be removed or modified.
Then there is that thing in the readme about a hidden link for an "About Us" page - WTF? - Surely the whole idea of this module is to enable you to add stuff like that by configuring the files or adding in your existing EZPages links? And why the need for for this hidden link anyway?
Well, I'm going back to EZPages - they don't do what I need them to do, but this module as it is is hopeless, and cannot be configured either. - The PHP template is shot and the coding appears to be broken.
One other thing, the code for manual inclusion into the tpl_header.php needs to go before
or the dropdown bar will not display.Code:<div id="navSuppWrapper">
<div id="navSupp">
Well, I've discovered that the first blank title box is supposed to be a homepage link, whilst the other two blanks are for linking account login / details and for viewing the shopping cart.
...but no much good if you cannot modify the number of boxes or get the titles to display...
This problem affects both Firefox and IE, ie: it is not peculiar to a particular browser.
This is the code with the 'blank' boxes stripped out for anyone with that problem:
If I can get some revised account and shopping cart links displaying properly I will add them, too, in a new post because is now looking as though this module may be useable after all following the modifications.Code:<?php

Once the blank category titles, and menus, have been removed this module works well, and integrates the EZ Pages links well, too.
The seperate About Us module can be used to create your own pages - very useful! - but the pages cannot be integrated within the dropdown menu, as there is no way to link them into it and the usual PHP linkage methods won't work with it for some reason.
So even with the blank categories removed you are still completely stuck as far as customising the drop-down menu is concerned... - you will be able to add the top, category, names but nothing underneath them.
...although the integrated EZ Page links work fine for any added pages - strange - and a shame that they will not appear under any other category than Information, otherwise it would be possible to force the dropdown menus to display properly using the EZPages module.
The links are working... in IE7 and not Firefox.
I've also got duplicate links, with some that work and others that try to link to
...so it seems there is some kind of display problem with Firefox and a problem with the links...Code:http://www.myzenstore.co.uk/index.php?main_page=FILENAME_ACCESS
IE7 is also refusing (even after clearing the cache) to display the title names properly, displaying instead
The modified code in the template file for the dropdown menu now looks like thisCode:https://www.myzenstore.co.uk/index.php?main_page=FILENAME_ORDER_DETAILS">Order Details
The references to ACCESS are references for the custom file I added... and which can be accessed by or through everything perfectly OK... except the drop-down menu...Code:<?php

Wow, I have never had someone respond this way to a free mod where someone offers FREE help. I have spent COUNTLESS hours on this mod, and by the way, it works FINE if you install it correctly. Did you even look at the test site I listed in the readme.txt at http://www.zencart137.jadetrue.com ? Looky there, it's working fine! I've also installed it myself without all the problems you describe. Did you stop and think that maybe you made a mistake?
UH NO, that is PATENTLY UNTRUE if you install it correctly, you end up with a menu with categories that work fine, titles that work fine, just like is here:Quote:
At the moment, once installed, you end up with one category that has no header (and no, it is not possible to add one - it simply won't display), Categories, Information, Contact Us categories, and two categories that contain nothing, have no titles and which also cannot be removed or modified.

My guess is you started with not all the files uploaded in their correct spots. I don't as a rule upload mod's that don't WORK. I test and test and adjust and adjust and spend hours and hours making sure it works correctly. But I can't account for people who don't know what they're doing.
Was the WTF really necessary??? If you don't want the link, you don't have to un-hide it. It's really that simple. This mod comes from my apple zen template, and I happened to add an about us page to the apple zen template. Because some people wanted that, as they wanted to be able to define an about us page in the "define pages editor". Is that OK with you?Quote:
Then there is that thing in the readme about a hidden link for an "About Us" page - WTF? - Surely the whole idea of this module is to enable you to add stuff like that by configuring the files or adding in your existing EZPages links? And why the need for for this hidden link anyway?
You're welcome to it!Quote:

So, you say that this isn't working:
Do you actually use this:Code:<li><a href="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_ACCESS); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_ACCESS; ?></a></li>
to successfully get a link to work in other zen cart files? Because the error you describe suggests to me that you didn't define the FILENAME_ACCESS correctly in a file in includes/extra_datafiles/ like this:Code:<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_ACCESS); ?>
define('FILENAME_ACCESS', 'access');
so that zen cart knows to go to that page. Download the about us page mod in the downloads section, it shows you all the files you have to add to get a new page you make to work FULLY within zen cart.
Please have more respect when you come to this thread, or ask someone else who likes people to be rude to them.
Here, here.
Thanks for all your efforts jettrue. I recently 'upgraded' to the latest 'version' and it's looking better than ever on my site.
After my 'upgrade' and making a couple of small tweaks, it looks fine now in IE8 beta. :-)
Thanks once again.
Craig
Jade,
To contrast what "some name not taken" said, you are right and your mod works wonderfully. No one has the right to be so rude when at the same time asking for help in something that was provided for free and came at the cost of hours and hours spent while nothing is asked for in return. Thank you for providing a much appreciated mod.
I apologise for being a little tetchy. - The module is good, it simply will not work on my setup.
I do not have GoDaddy hosting, but obviously something is preventing your module from working on some web hosts and there is probably very little either of us can do about it. The same problem is also preventing EZPages from working, so that's that. - Don't install Zen Cart on GoDaddy or Litespeed servers if you want a fully working setup.
some name not taken, I have my ZenCart on GoDaddy and as much as I dislike GoDaddy in general, the site works just fine.
I only mentionned GoDaddy hosting because it is known to cause some people problems with their install.
I have just reinstalled my cart purely to test CSS Dropdown on a completely new install with clean database and it is still affected by exactly the same problems as before and the debug utility is telling me precisely nothing.
The .htc mime type does not need to be set in .htaccess for my server (already pre-set, and checked) and the files have been uploaded correctly, so there's no reason why it should not work, but it isn't, and won't.
Can you give a link so we can look at your sites?
Sure, and thanks...
http://litez.co.uk
I have just reinstalled the module.
As you will see, several of the categories display properly and the others refuse to display, except for the home column which displays the links but not the header.
If you did not already know the blank columns are supposed to titled for home, account, and catalogue; although I cannot see any reason why they should not be displaying properly.
The CSS has been left just as it was in the original download, EZ Page links have not been added in, and in Layout Boxes Controller ezpages_drop_menu.php has been set to Single Column Status (only) ON. EZ Pages header bar has not been hidden, as there are currently no header links.

I see no other home, account, etc. Links anywhere else on the site either. I bet you changed them to blank for one reason or another, and that is why they aren't showing up.
I highly doubt the issue is godaddy.

Hi jettrue I'm using Godaddy and I have no issues with them, some but not with anything he is talking about. Getting back why I need help. Did you see my earlier post? If not here it is Thank You
What do you have defined for:
HEADER_TITLE_CREATE_ACCOUNT
HEADER_TITLE_MY_ACCOUNT
HEADER_TITLE_CART_CONTENTS
HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG
HEADER_TITLE_LOGIN
in includes/languages/english/YOUR_TEMPLATE/header.php?
Let me guess. You changed them to blank for some reason? Did something else you weren't supposed to do? Your issue is in a language file, I promise.
Text doesn't just turn blank for some mystical magical reason. No, silly me, it makes perfect sense that godaddy would block certain words from your website for the fun of it. :lamo: :clap:
Here's an experiment for you to try. Next time you have a problem with zen cart, think that MAYBE just PERHAPS the issue could be caused by something you did. Even if you're quite POSITIVE it's not your fault, just use your imagination skills that you learned in kindergarten to pretend that in some alternate universe it could be so. Then present the problem in a polite fashion, and ask "can anyone help me figure out what I might have done to cause this".
Did you see my comment in my above post as to why your extra pages you created weren't working?
Yes. I'm still angry.
Why, I'm sure your issue is Godaddy. They're setup is causing your menu to not work correctly. Contact them and yell at them right away! :P (sorry, I couldn't help it)
I'm trying to validate your site and its producing a lot of errors because of this chunk of code:
Code:<!-- AddToBookmarks.com CSS - Place this in the head of your page -->
<style type="text/css">
@import "addto/addto.css";
</style>
<!-- End AddToBookmarks.com CSS -->
Try moving that to includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/common/html_header.php and see what happens. At least that will clean up a lot of errors so that we can troubleshoot.
What if I never had a html_header.php in includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/common. I always wondered why there was not one there...lol I just put one there. Now I'm trying to find all the errors I have. I don't know where to start looking..lol Maybe you can point me in the right direction. All your help is much appreciated. Thank youQuote:

thanks heaps i love it :D Great Mod!
Thanks for the advice, jettrue. - I installed a fresh copy of Zen Cart to eliminate any problems with amended files, etc..
Note: I do not use GoDaddy! hosting.
The problem was also one with titles becoming corrupted in IE, and categories not working with additional entries or removed drop down sections; however I will try to sort out the titles first and take things from there.
Once again, thank-you.
Has any done this drop down to make it vertical? Sorry but going through 127 different pages makes me shiver.
jettrue, all that posted was "Posted via Mobile Device":P
You don't have one there because you never edited it. And that is how the override system works. If you need to edit a file, you take the original from includes/templates/TEMPLATE_DEFAULT/ and copy it to includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/ so that you only have the files you changed in your template folder, and so that you always have an original in TEMPLATE_DEFAULT.
Hi jettrue All my files are on a override system I just didn't know what I was suppose to use the html_header.php for thats all. I guess I know now.
One big error is that you have this in the source of your site:
<div id="navMain">
<ul>
<li><a href="http://www.thegoodshepherdstore.com/"> <li><a href="https://www.thegoodshepherdstore.com/login">
<li><a href="https://www.thegoodshepherdstore.com/account">
<li><a href="http://www.thegoodshepherdstore.com/shopping_cart">
<li><a href="https://www.thegoodshepherdstore.com/checkout_shipping">
</ul>
</div>
Since you're not using these links (they would be at the top of the site, in your yellow portion, you need to fully remove that section (navMain) you only removed part of it, and what's left is causing a big chunk of your errors.
That chunk should be found in includes/templates/cherry_zen/common/tpl_header.php
Thanks jettrue I took out that chunk of code and that brought me down to 22 errors. If I cut off the Testimonials Manager box that brings me to 8 errors. I don't know where to look for the other ones. I know this thread is not for this so I so apologize.
Hi jettrue it's me again. I just wanted to give you and update. That fix my IE7 problem by removing that chunk of code. Thank you again. I still have to resolve the other errors but I will.
Looks like you changed the includes/templates/common/tpl_footer.php and tried to remove the HOME link, but did something incorrectly. Pay close attention to your changes in that file.
You can ignore this error:
Line 43, Column 365: value of attribute "type" cannot be "search"; must be one of "text", "password", "checkbox", "radio", "submit", "reset", "file", "hidden", "image", "button".
Thanks jettrue, you where right again. Yes I did look at another thread about moving the home from the footer. That was the reason for the other 7 errors. I will ask this question over at the cherry zen thread about how to remove the home from the footer. There is still a CSS Validation problem with the drop menu. Any ideas jettrue what would be causing this.

hello:
first, really, really like the css drop down. Much cleaner. I installed and customized the menu for my site. I have one small, REALLY stupid question:
:clap:
i can't seem to get the level 2 items to accept my hover sate. it should be dark pink text over a light pink background. i've tried very combination i can think of, but nadda.
the site i'm working on is: http://bisousbaby.com/index.php
I'm designing on Mac, so if you see weird things in IE, I wouldn't mind hearing about it.
oh and adding pages was tedious, but very easy. I did not know someone had that would create define pages. Oh well, live and learn.
thqnk you
I'd posted this before but had no link to offer, and hence no responses - now hoping someone might help shed some light on it as I have a live link to offer :smile:
www.chococielo.com
I've added some menu items to "About Chocolate", but they do not work in firefox (version 2.0.0.17) - despite working fine in IE (version 7.0). The shop and FAQ dropdowns work fine in both.
I'm sure it's something simple I've missed but still can't see it. Hope someone can help...
Thanks,
Adam.
Code as follows...
Code:<li class="submenu"><a ="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_ABOUT_CHOCOLATE); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_ABOUT_CHOCOLATE; ?></a>
</li>
<ul class="level2">
<li><a href="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_SHIPPING); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_SHIPPING_INFO; ?></a></li>
</ul>
<li class="submenu"><a href="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_ABOUT_US); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_ABOUT_US; ?></a>
</li>
<li class="submenu"><a ="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_INFORMATION; ?></a>
<ul class="level2">
<?php if (DEFINE_SHIPPINGINFO_STATUS <= 1) { ?>
<li><a href="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_SHIPPING); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_SHIPPING_INFO; ?></a></li>
<?php } ?>
Your site is not working for me.
Look closely at your code, I'm pretty sure its not correct.
The </li> should be moved from after <?php echo HEADER_TITLE_ABOUT_CHOCOLATE; ?></a> to after the </ul>Code:<li class="submenu"><a ="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_ABOUT_CHOCOLATE); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_ABOUT_CHOCOLATE; ?></a>
<ul class="level2">
<li><a href="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_SHIPPING); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_SHIPPING_INFO; ?></a></li>
</ul>
</li>
Hi Jade,
Worked fine, many thanks!!!
I figured it'd be something simple but had been staring far too long at the code. I guess IE is a little more forgiving than Firefox. Great menu, BTW, thanks for making it available!
Cheers,
Adam.
I've installed this mod and love it. It works just like it says it should which means of course I want to alter it! I've searched and searched but haven't found a way to hide a category from displaying in this menu (I've installed hideCategories mod but then saw in the forum that it does NOT work for css menus). Has anyone found a solution?
Also, I posted a message earlier about putting a height limit on the drop down and having it double over instead. You can see why I'm asking here:
http://74.220.207.198/~retrospo/shop...ain_page=index
Any help on this as well would be great!!! :frusty:
jettrue, that worked! thank you. As to the easy pages, I did try it. unfortunately, the info pages are disperced and some are parent of children, so after palying with it, moving the codearound the tpl_dropdown_menu.php file, i gave up. but yes, it is easy to add pages with ez pages.HTML Code:<?php require(DIR_WS_MODULES . 'sideboxes/' . $template_dir . '/' . 'ezpages_drop_menu.php'); ?>
thank you for everything.
I can't see why it would not work (hideCategories), but you'll have to open some files for this mod and make some changes. For example, I think you'll need to make some changes in includes/classes/categories_ul_generator under function zen_categories_ul_generator. I'm assuming you'll need to change the $categories_query so that it selects the un-hidden categories instead of all of them.
Height limit is not possible, sorry. Could you rearrange the categories in alphabetical groups? Like "Teams A-F", "Teams G-L", etc?
Great mod. Works like a charm. Clean, functional, and easy to set up, even for a non-tech minded person like myself.
Thank you greatly for all the effort and time invested.
:thumbsup:
Hi,
Great mod, just what I was looking for. Thanks!
I'd like to change where the home tab links to. Currently, it goes to www.mysie.com/shop/ but I'd like to change it to just www.mysite.com - how do you do this? I've tried changing the header_tpl but it makes no difference.
Thanks again.
B.
Hello , love the ad on !! I was wondering if it is possible to have the drop down menu extend a little further down? I have a lot of products and when the menu drops down , it cuts off a lot of my products...my website is
http://jygoods.com/shop/index.php?ma...Path=1326_1330
that is where you can see the categories and how it doesnt drop down all the way...
And one more issue, when i click on information in the menubar, it brings me to the shops original homepage and not the information page,
thanks for any help...
