Sorry to keep replying to my own post. I finally found the error but I don't know what to do about it.

I've installed the cowoa mod, uploaded all the files in the correct order, with the right template name etc. Installed the SQL etc. Funny thing is I can see the Cowoa in my admin but can not put any values in it. see screenshot

When I go to the shop and go to the ckeckout of my cart nothing shows up, just the "normal" sig in / login page but no cowoa choice. Any Ideas??

In the address bar try adjusting the gID, right now it looks like it is 45, try 46, 47, 48... maybe even 44, 43, 42... I have seen this happen occasionally, once fixed modify the database entry to get that gID

maybe this is giving the problems of the cowoa setup not showing correctly in my admin??
I'm assuming your running zen cart version 1.3.9 and your trying to install that version of COWOA 1.3.9 IntegratedCOWOA_20c2_JT because you never said.
Best thing to do is run the uninstall_COWOA.sql from your admin. then try installing the COWOA_Full_Install.sql again and see if that solves your problem.
It would be super awesome if someone was able to do a video install of the COWOA to show all the little quarks
COWOA & Checkout with Paypal (Express Paypal Checkout button)

Using "Checkout with Paypal" button on the shopping cart page, the user is redirected to teh Paypal site where he adds the paypal info and returns to the website. Normal ZC checkout, creates an account for the customer and sends an email.
But my website is using COWOA, though I know customers are created (but they are not sent any info/ email with login details). but one of the customers on the website used the above button and received the default ZC welcome email with the login details. Since my website has no login interface, the customer wrote back with this issue that he could not place the order.
User places an order on the website and the following pages are visited (in the same order as listed).
1. Normal Zencart checkout -

2. COWOA checkout -

OK, this is half an issue, but I thought I'd bring it up.
I recently changed my shipping rates because I saw some issues at some point and wanted to check-out to test if all went well.
It was impossible to check-out or login... until I changed browser.
So on Chrome (latest version), can't do anything, but on Firefox I can.
For info I'm using zencart v1.3.9h and COWOA Version 2.0c Dated August 29, 2010
So yes I've been using it for long, maybe there's been an updated for that issue? Or maybe some of my mods are interfering?

I installed this mod but for some reason it is not working for me. I can't get it to show up at checkout. I have Zencart v1.3.9h running and installed the COWOA 2.0c I believe. Can someone please assist me?

I'm trying to help someone out with an existing zencart installation. The customer is not getting an email receipt after check out. The site uses check out without account module.
So when I check out this way, there is an 'email address' field where I can enter my email address (which is required field). However this does not get saved to the customer record that gets created for me. I've attached screen shots illustrating this.
I've scoured the administrative options on the backend for any kind of resolution to this but I'm not finding anything that seems relevant. Under "Configuration > Customer Details" there are not any options that are jumping out at me.

The email address I enter in checkout does not make it to the profile. Which I believe to be the root cause of the email receipt not getting sent.
If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it.

PS - I'm using zencart 1.3.9h. I'm not sure how to check the version of COWOA.. I was not the original installer of the module. . if someone can tip me off on how to check that I can post it.
