Also your language definition is not at the top of the "head" section (at the minimum before the "title"), which can delay rendering in a browser.
I think I may also have the same messy order you mentioned, resulting in 404 errors of the same.
Would you or someone else mind advising me if you spot the same problem and what adjustment to make/where?

The Ceon Mappings Manager is a COMMERCIAL add-on.. You will have to contact JSWebs about that..
This is the support thread for the ABSOLUTELY FREE Ceon URI Mapping add-on available in the free downloads..
Re: Ceon URI Mapping v4.x
You are confusing two modules.
Ceon's URI mapping is free.
The features you describe are in URI Mapping Manager.
He used to sell the URI Mapping Manager for not a lot of money, and it was worth buying, but that is no longer the case.
After Conor died, the company that took his modules over now charges a great deal more for the module (and it is an annual fee), so it is only really worth it if you are installing to a large existing site. I'm not saying it isn't good value, just that it isn't vital or cheap.

This is very true indeed they are but this is not the place to discuss anything about Conor's commercial modules. This thread is just about Conor's free module Ceon URI Mapping v4.x
Re: Ceon URI Mapping v4.x
As a member of "the company that took his modules over" I would just like to make one thing very, very clear; part of the agreement between Conor's family and ourselves was that they would still receive exactly the same amount per installation as Conor would have sold the module for. The additional cost we add is for our time in installing (where requested), ongoing support for the modules (where possible - none of us would dream of claiming to be able to fill Conor's shoes) and the daily management of enquiries going to Conor's old site.
Conor was a personal friend to most of the JSWeb team - please do not try to intimate that we are trying to take advantage of his loss.

And will we see "the company that took his modules over" take a more active role here in this support thread for the free version of the Ceon URI Mapping module??

I believe that would be the correct thing to do. Good question Diva.... :)
