Hi all

I sucessfully installed seo_urls_3.0.0-beta1 to the ZenCart 1.3.8 from

http://www.smarterwebdev.com/pub/zen...ls_current.zip

Everything seems work well except one thing .. ( I don't know if this thread is the right place for bug report but I didn't find better :) )

On the products pages is bad back URL's to the products category .. URL contain "-c-" only. Here is example installation with this bug:

http://instalace.zserver.cz/testovaci-zbozi-p-1

The link above product name is wrong .. contain only http://instalace.zserver.cz/-c- which leads to the 404 page

SupuS - check your HTACCESS file setup, as ALL pages currenctly lead to the same 404 page by the look of it. This could just be that the HTACCESS needs to be updated.

Stargre - the menu in the admin is stored in the database. Firstly, check that the database contains the menu if you can. This is can be found in the configuration_groups table. You then uses this ID to find all the configuration values within the configuration table, with this group ID. If there are no records here at all, it suggests that the SEO classes are not being called correctly. Which version of the SEO are you using, and can you post a link to your store?

Might not be the place, but could someone tell me where I can get a copy of this contrib that works with Zen Cart v1.3.02?
I want to try it out first on a copy of my current site.
Followed the whole of this thread, plus checked out the contribs page on the Home site & the Wikki, but all the copies seem to be for 1.3.7

SupuS - there are two things to consider with your problem. Firstly, you only have 1 test product in the test category, and you have automatic redirects enabled, so rather than showing the category listings, it just shows the only product. That isn't a problem related to the SEO, but something to consider when testing. I'd recommend either setting up another product, or turn the redirect off.

The second is the fact that the link in the breadcrumb works, which is setup to go to the exact same category, as the category name. I would suggest you take a look at both links, and see if there is anyway that these two links differ, in terms of coding used to create them. It may be worth turning the SEO off and checking to see if there are any differences there before you go any further.

This is the 3rd link for this (above) I've come across that when you click you just come back to where you started!
I really want to download this file because I'm using Zen Cart v1.3.02 & want to use the Ultimate SEO as well.
Would actually prefer to try SEFU first, but it doesn't seem to support V1.3.02, unless I've just misunderstood.
Would appreciate a working link so I can get hold of Dr Bytes version.

The above link works for me, and I'm prompted to download the zip file. Do you not get the zip file download? Which browser are you using, and do you have downloads disabled? Try using FireFox, rather than IE.

I am such an idiot!!!

I am using Firefox, & can't seem to get used to the fact that the download page never pops up - the file is just automatically downloaded to my Desktop.
I bet you can imagine: I have Loads of zip files dotted ALL OVER my desktop!!!

OK, got rid of all the extra downloads, inzipped one & took a look.
There's no documentation!
What do I do with it, or where can I find documentation.
I would prefere something that tells me what to do step-by-step, because I can (usually) follow instructions but I can't code or do stuff above beginner levels!
If you can steer me in the right direction, or give me a "roadmap"??, I would be very grateful.
