Re: Apple Zen Support Thread
Okay so for some reason I can figure out everything but this little (what should be obvious) issue of getting rid of the "To change any of the site colors, open up includes/templates/apple_zen/css/stylesheet.css. To overwrite your own logo, upload your logo.gif to includes/templates/apple_zen/images/" in the header...
I tried changing it in the template_info.php file where I found it, but it doesn't do a thing, so I must be looking in the wrong place...
I'd love for someone to point me in the right direction! Thanks a bunch!
Re: Apple Zen Support Thread
Hi Folks,
Noob here...I'm looking for anyone to have a look and tell me what I may be missing? I had this working under the default green, and when I've tried to use this template (which looks awesome by the way!), it displays "incomplete".
http://www.tierra-norte.com/store
ANY insight would be great please!
Thanks.
Re: Apple Zen Support Thread
By "incomplete"...I mean not all of it shows up, and there are error messages. On the green default, where the large grey box currently is, WAS the featured products.

In your screen shot, the Out of Stock image has replaced the Add to Cart button. You will have to add quantity to the item, or change your settings for the Add to Cart button to show.

It looks like you are missing the following file...
Code:
/home/torrence/public_html/store/includes/templates/apple_zen/common/tpl_drop_menu.php
Re: Apple Zen Support Thread
hmmm...the file exists, and is in that location....
Re: Apple Zen Support Thread
Found it....I needed to copy the other php file (categories_ul_generator.php) in the error into the "other" includes folder! (Thanks for pointing me in right direction!)
Now...just need to figure out the titles (as in what's wrong with them!), and how to display 3 items across (in the same row) on each page...and I'll be ecstatic.

echo '<label class="inputLabel">' . TEXT_PRODUCTS_LISTING_ALPHA_SORTER .
I don't see anything like #sorter select in there that I could use.....
Sorry. I am a total newb. I appreciate any help someone could provide in moving the alpha sorter to the right of the screen so that the menus don't overlap it causing a problem in IE6.
Thanks!
You could try .inputLabel
Sorry for the delayed reply! Busy days....

Here's the issue:
With Apple Zen, in IE7, if you activate a submenu under "Categories" and then move your mouse to the webpage from the submenu, when you hover over Categories again, you will get a blank part where the submenus were before. Attached is a screenshot from Jettrue's webpage that shows the problem. Any idea how to fix that?
By the way, I am more than happy to make a contribution, Jettrue. Your template is essential for my site, and I certainly appreciate all the effort you have put into it and giving advice on this thread. Is there any way I can do so?
Thanks!
HI!
Yes, that is a known issue, with no resolution... so you have to decide whether or not you can live with it...
As far as a contribution, please read the readme, at the top there is info on that.

Any time like that you have text you don't know where to change, its probably in a language file, and to find exactly what file, search for a portion of it in your admin, under "tools", "developers tool kit". I always go down to the bottom search (search all) and then I choose "all files, catalog and admin". This will tell you just where to change it.

It looks like you did not upload all files, in all the right places. Check and double check that each and every file is where it is supposed to be.
