Re: AJAX IMAGE Swapper support thread
I think there should be a way to enable or disable the module for different items or categories. Particularly if you are having a store that sells different types of items this function would be useful.
Another thing, in version 2 of the module, when viewing an image in the full-screen preview, you could go to the next image without leaving the preview mode, but in version 3 you can't do that anymore. I got a complaint from my client that it wasn't there anymore (I showed him the demo that you put up).
Re: AJAX IMAGE Swapper support thread
As far as the installation goes, I only really had trouble with upgrading... well there was other things to I suppose. I think what really needs to clear for people installing it is all the compatibility issues. Any major issue that will cause the module to not work should be very clear and straightforward for Dummies® like myself.
Re: AJAX IMAGE Swapper support thread
Suggestion received! I'll do something about it. As for the compatibility issue, you may just click that "clean database" button to make the data compatible again. A problem I found was when this module installed in a running site with products already having images.

Re: AJAX IMAGE Swapper support thread
Ok, I upgraded my server, and spent 2 weeks fixing things (it was a big update).
I am now running:
PHP Version: 5.2.5 (Zend: 2.2.0)
Server OS: Linux 2.6.9-023stab046.2-enterprise
Database: MySQL 5.0.22
I uninstalled Image Handler 2, and installed Ajax Image Swapper 3.0.
However its still not working. After uploading an image, and clicking on it in the admin screen it shows me all images are size 0x0 and shows a missing button link. I also don't see any file with the proper name if I look in the images folder.
Here's a screen shot of the problem:

And when I go to that product's page, the little Ajax swirly thing just spins and no photo is displayed.

Re: AJAX IMAGE Swapper support thread
Have you set the image folder permission to 777?

Yep, it is set to 777, and Image Handler 2 (when installed) had no problem creating the images and placing them there.
Any other ideas? Which library needs to be installed on the server to resize the graphics? Maybe I'm missing that?
Re: AJAX IMAGE Swapper support thread
I follow instructions and install 3.0...but i have a problem to upload AIS3
admin, catelog, AIS manager
I can select the category and find the product. but unfortunately when i click "add new image" there is a js error:
Line 460
Char 5
'undefined' is null or not an object....
..../admin/AJAX_image_swapper.php
what's wrong?
I have IH2, is that a problem?
Re: AJAX IMAGE Swapper support thread

It functions in Firefox but all photo uploaded with 0kb....images folder set to 777.
Re: AJAX IMAGE Swapper support thread
Hi Jay, I got it working. I deleted all the old image files in the folder, and it seems to have fixed it.
I do have one product that no matter what doesn't seem to be working:
Baby Treeson
This is the only product that I'm using with attributes. I have "Use Attributes" turned off in Image Swapper, as I want to use the same photos regardless of which attribute is chosen. Any idea how to get the images to work?
The other thing I'm noticing, I now have 2 "Add to cart" buttons. I don't remember having 2 before installing Image Swapper. What do I need to do to remove the bottom button?
Re: AJAX IMAGE Swapper support thread
I found this module a couple of days ago and am seriously impressed. I wanted to try it out on my local machine which has a clean installation of Zen Cart. I think I have it installed correctly, at least I can see the AJAX Image Swapper and Manager under my Admin and Catalog menus along with the Fual Slimbox. I also set up a category and product and a couple of attributes for the product. I then went into the AJAX manager and added a couple of images. When I view the product however, I don't see the additional images or get the lightbox effect the way the demo site does.
I have a few questions to anyone who can help:
Are there configuration changes I need to make in Zen Cart itself to access the features of the image swapper?
Do I need to upload an attribute swatch image or is that handled through the AJAX manager?
I'd love to get this running so I can begin experimenting with it. Once I do I'll post some complete documentation start to finish for setting it up to hopefully take a load off of Jay so he can do more of what he does best!
Thanks!
