Open up phpmyadmin
find your db
go to zenyq_flexiblefooter_menu
select the db
on the right side scroll all the way to the bottom its the blank one right under share and connect
click edit
paste the html in the col_html_text

I have created a generic item that can be used for any occasion.
The issue is how to list all the attributes/options so they are grouped by event type but at the same time not to be grouped for regular items
example:

i have zc version 1.55a installed and using this template. I would like to have 5 columns instead of the default 3 and I have updated it on the config. under all listing and under config. maximum. I have also reduced the image sizes down as I thought this might help but it does not for the 5 products in a row. Am I missing something?

I'm looking to have my ezpages listed on the side box and to be able to turn them off or on from ezpages menu under side box option.
I want them to be different from useful links in the header menu. I want them all in header, but only few in sidebox.
Turning them on/off under sidebox doesn't really turn them off. They still appear all in the sidebox.
Is it a bug, or I have to do it other-ways?

Yes, it is true! In layout boxes controller sideboxes/ezpages.php is turned on and I have all the ezpages listed there on the sidebox, no matter how i select them to appear on the sidebox from tools/EZ-pages menu.
Also in layout boxes controller if I turn on sideboxes/westminster_new/ezpages_drop_menu.php the EZ-pages appear on the side bar but with other styles. And they does not fit with the general look of the store.

Actually, I solved it, nevermind about the error...
I have another question, when I am seeing the dropdown of the categories using my iphone for example, they disappear quickly.
Is there a way to make the categories stay still using css???

I am pulling my hair out as I can not find where I have made the mistake in breaking the lovely layout of the template displaying sub categories correctly in the sub menu alignment. I have tried for hours trying to find where I have gone wrong on this as it seems it was a change a did a while ago and has only just been picked up now when adding sub categories. This site is on zc version 1.5.3. I have attached a screen shot - where the start of the sub category overlaps the arrow and cuts the wording of the top level cat. Hi, I have fixed this menu alignment issue. It was in my stylesheet and in slim menu -a padding adjustment fixed it.
The sideboxes/westminster_new/ezpages_drop_menu.php should only be turned on for the header, not the left or right hand column.Quote:

I am getting an installation error with this template. I am running ZC v1.5.5a and just installed Wesminster v1.3. First the layout_controller.php was showing an error on the page. I also get this JSON error on the login page as well.
I paid someone to fix this error. The developer did not fix the template itself he added code to another page, that worked for me. I do not know the fix, but if someone has the same issue I can send you to the guy I paid, just PM me. He was reasonable and did the job quickly.
I'm sure this has been asked and answered but I couldn't find it.
I have many customizable items with many attributes/options.
The issue is that the Product Description for each item can be lengthy
and then the attributes/option display way down on the page leaving
a large white space to the left. Has anyone created a work around for this?
Or changed the template to have the selections below the Product

Have you made customizations for the product description display?
I ask because the product description is usually automatically displayed in the "DETAILS" tab below the attribute listing and your example page has the product description in 2 places.... If you remove the description that is not in the DETAILS tab, the attributes will move up.

The template uses php mobile detect to serve up the optimized layout based on device. If you want to work on the layout from a browser, use chrome and the web developer tools and don't forget to refresh the page after you have selected the device you want to view.Quote:

Hello, I want wholesale customers to be able to register separately, and once they complete the registration be auto-logged into as a wholesale account. I added in footers Wholesale registration but that links open accounts registrations, I could use this if I could make the company name mandatory but I would need to have the customer after completion directed to the wholesale part of the site.
Any ideas and help would be appreciated.

For those of you with the admin problems. Try using Internet Explorer (now known as edge in widows 10) I couldn't log-in to my admin due to errors using chrome but im not sure its acturally to do with the template specifically.....I do all my admin work in Edge now.

I am now having my own problems.
I had a problem with the social media buttons previously, got into a right mess so chose to just reinstall and start again (that's zencart as I'm working on a clean database anyway).
This time ive got everything set-up apart from the social media buttons, get all my social media accounts set-up and go into the flexible footer to simply change the links and
BOOM! Nope its broke again....just changed the twitter link and its broken it. put Anna's link back in, so it was exactly as it was previously and its still broken.
How do I fix this?

Building a new site with ZenCart 1.55b. I like the simplicity of Westminster as I don't need this site to have a lot of stuff with it. But I am having a problem with the home-top/top-banner set up in the banner manager. I would like it to fill out the WHOLE space but I can't get it too resize. I don't have a lot of practice or skill with any kind of web programming, so I'm probably missing something obvious. :blush:

Having a problem with the 'hamburger' menu on mobiles. As ive been developing the site ive had the site 'down for maintenance' and everything was working fine. I put the site live last night and noticed the Hamburger menu on mobiles had disappeared. I did some investigation and found it showed up when the site was 'down for maintenance' but disappeared when it was 'live' and I have no idea why.

Im using Westminster New template on my website and last night I put the site live for the first time before going out. While out I checked the site over on my mobile and noticed a big problem. The Menu button (the button with 3 lines) which is shown in the top right corner in this template, and the top left corner on the default responsive template disappeared.
Having got home this morning ive been trying to figure out whats happened. I havent changed any core files or mods other than a slight colour adjustment in the stylesheet for the menu.
I uploaded a store back-up I did before going live...button is still missing on menu, I then went to an older backup...button is still missing.
So having cleared that it doesn't appear to be the store files thats the problem and so i uploaded again my most recent back up to bring it all up to date I thought maybe a database problem.
So I uploaded my most recent database backup. I looked at my phone and I get the banner 'Store is down for maintenance to the public' (As it was when i did the back-up having given myself the IP exception) BUT The button works.
I go into the store admin, turn 'Down for maintenance off' refresh/clear cache on phone....sure enough the menu button has gone again....I turn 'down for maintenance' back on, it appears again.
What the heck is going on?!? and more to the point how do I fix it.
Also note..the search and account buttons are working fine on mobile...the menu is working fine on desktop, regardless of setting....just on mobile it won't show if 'Down for maintenance is off'... Ive also deleted my IP exception thinking it might be just playing me around....curiously if I switch back to Classic Responsive template the menu button works fine.
Im now completely out of ideas and any help would be much appreciated.

After 3 full installs since filezilla kept messing up uploads I have zero errors. Thank you lat for recommeding wincsp no errors now. My only problem is now the drop down menu isn't work in firebug states it is set to display none but in css it is set to display inline. I would greatly appreciate any pointers in the right direction this is now 4 th day on upgrade and seeing double.

We're still running v1.5.4 - we've decided not to update due to the installed plugins and other changes we've made until either v1.5.5 has been finalised or v1.6.0 is released.
I'm sure Anne will know straight away what the issue is as she's always come up trumps for us with any problems we've had.
I have managed to resolve mine. Not sure if it was a glitch with my end or zen, this is how I resolved it.

Click on the BLANK line under Share and Connect
Click Edit
Copy and paste the following into a texteditor like Notepad++

I have no intention of ever using the carousel banners. Can I safely remove jquery.carouFredSel-6.0.2.js and all references to it in the template? Getting rid of this improves my page speed by over 15% .

A simple question I think
I uploaded the files, logged in to admin and changed the template to Westminster. I tried to change the page and received an error message and the page went blank. The site itself looked ok. In the end I found that the problem was the file admin/includes/auto_loaders/config.westminster_new.php. When I deleted the file the admin pages worked. When I put it back in, I got the error message.
It seems to be calling up a file called init_westminster_.php. I checked and that file is in the admin/includes/ init_includes directory.
I've checked to make sure that all the files were uploaded to their correct directory.
What am I doing wrong?

I've just done a quick check on our live site.
In admin/includes/auto_loaders/config.westminster_new.php I found Line #8 : 'loadFile' => 'init_westminster_new.php' ;-)
I saw that line and the init_westminster file is located in the init_inclues directory. I mentioned that in my post. Thanks for the quick response but that doesn't help the problem Should the init_westminster file be in a different directory?Quote:

In Banner Manager look under 'Groups' column. The one you need to edit is 'hometop' banner. It's probably easier to create a new banner and select 'hometop' from the dropdown. Hyperlink goes in the 'Banner URL: field'Quote:

First thank you for your templates, I have used them a few times over the years.
My situation is as follows: Set up a new Godaddy hosting account (I know, I know, GODADDY YICK) and installed zencart 1.5.5. I then installed your Westminster New theme and the google analytics plugin.
My problem: When I attempt to visit the login (on the front end) page I get a popup alert that reads:
"An unknown response null: :text/html; charset=utf-8: :SyntaxError: Unexpected token m in JSON at position 0 was received while processing an ajax call. The action you requested could not be completed"
Then as I scroll farther down the page, to where you would enter your country for signup, instead of showing the countries list I get:
"WARNING: An Error occurred, please refresh the page and try again."
This prevents the rest of the page from loading below this.
I looked in my log files and this is what I get in my "mydebug" file:

None of that makes any sense to me, as I have never had this exact set of problems with any of your themes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Additionally, clicking the "signup" link in the menu does NOT throw the popup message but DOES include the missing countries and missing rest of the page.
How did you perform the installation? Did you use the proper method and FTP the folders/files to the server? Or did you use some crappy Godaddy self-install system?Quote:

I'm about to call it quits on this template and also the Winchester as I'm having the same problem with that one.
Several weeks ago I posted that when I upload the config.westminster_new.php file the website shows but I get a blank or "WARNING: An Error occurred, please refresh the page and try again." message when attempting to get into my admin page. When I remove the file the template still shows on the website and I'm able to log into my admin area.
My log files show the following:

I have looked through the forum and saw someone else having the same problem but didn't see a solution. I upgraded my PHP version thinking that might help but it didn't. I downloaded another westminster new file and reinstalled it. Still the same problem.
