Product Extra Fields for text, pdfs and flash

Thanks for building and supporting this mod! I'm looking at a major upgrade of our product info pages and I think this will help. What we need is a short bit of description on the right-top of the page with the image on the left-top then below that we want the main description area where we'd like to use Tabbed Products Pro. Do you know if they're compatible? Also, if we have Quick Updates but we don't use it for the descriptions (only quantity and model number) will we be OK or do we still need to do a merge?

Hy Delia! Great to see you've fixed many things about your contrib, it has now become almost a standard install on my shops...

Do you perhaps know how I could get the advanced search to look in the extra description field? I have some parameters in that field, but when I do a search on the exact keyword from the extra description, no results are found.

The search only searches on the product title and description so it would have to be altered to include that new table. I'm not sure how possible it would be - it's kinda like the attributes - just maybe not possible tho I think it should be. I'll keep it in mind tho; I had it come up this morning as well.

I have the new zencart, but when i install the latest product extra fields addon and i type some text int the extra field, it also outputs the html code. So the page looks like this:

When i put in this:
##########_
HOOOI




HOI
##########_

it outputs this on the product page:

HOOOI<br /><br /><br /><br />HOI

I tried reuploading and stuff, and changing browsers but nothing works. Also moving in to plain text mode does not work. it keeps outputting the HTML code too.

You must be using 1.3.9g?

1.3.9g has screwed up a lot of things that will be fixed with the next version.

There is a fix published that will correct this in many areas of zen cart such as the define pages but in the case of this mod, I simply recommend only using text for the moment until the zen cart folks decide how they are going to handle the next set of changes.

That kinda sucks very bad. I need this contrib asap. Oh well, I'll wait then

I am building a site in EN, FR and DE. How would I edit this mod to make it offer the 3 language text boxes. I don't need it to offer different language for the file uploads, just the text input fields.

Your help would be great!

I've never done a mod with the languages in mind so I'm a little fuzzy on that myself.

Definitely would require major changes to the mod and the database. Not simply edits.
