Optional Shipping Insurance Module [Support Thread]

Hi there i try to install the insurance module but i get this error message,

The warning is pretty straightforward...

Check to make sure you have uploaded this file:
/home/uuuwtwrj/public_html/shop/includes/languages/english/modules/order_total/ot_insurance.php

It is one of the few files included with the package.

I am getting an internal server error that gives me the following information:

I have everything installed correctly in the correct files. Any suggestions?

hi,

I got this installed and it seems to be working, but a few questions:

1. how can I make this optional? I want it to be optional if they choose to purchase insurance.

2. how can I use real, live USPS rates?

3. how hard is it to make it if they choose UPS to not charge insurance (since UPS is covered up to $100 for free)?

ok, since I got a box now, I am happy, but I want to use real USPS rates, exactly like how it is set up in the tables for the zones... but I want it to apply to all orders, regardless of the zone... any suggestions?

ok, something strange is going on... at work I had a box for optional shipping insracence, now I just got an email from a customer who said it was automatica and there was no box... so at home I am checking this: firefox,mac, and he is right... for me here it is automatically adding shipping insurance, with no chekcbox option, it is automatically added in the checkout... so strange please help!

still wondering how I can get straight USPS rates on all packages, in all zones.. right now using percent

ok...confusion....
one poster has use table rates--true and another poster has use usps rates--true


Now, I use usps api but all i get is use table rates.....so I would think I would say false.....

but I do not have an option for usps rates......

what am I talking about? ahahah (page 11 of this thread....craft zombie and another poster are comparing the optional insurance mod choices)

why are their examples different?

I am having the same problems as some of the others here.
I am using USPS api but there is no option to make that choice with this insurance module?

I uninstalled and reinstalled under modules/shipping and some other options showed up, but not the one where i want to use the usps real time rates.

Any help would be gratefully and hearfelt-fully accepted.
