Critical problem with Lightbox
Ive just tested lightbox and I am really hoping that what I am experiancing is not the norm.
Unless you wait for the page to open fully then lightbox does not work and instead the image will load in the same window full screen.
A normal reaction from a user would be to close the window. They are then out of your site - customer lost!!!
I hope I am being dumb! Can this be prevented?
Re: Critical problem with Lightbox
can you please post a link to your site so we may see what it is doing...
mine opens on top of my main page, but its really a floating page, so when they click on it and close the image it goes back to the main page....

Thanks for posting this. I think someone else mentioned this earlier in the thread.
At the moment the page must be loaded before the lightbox will be displayed. So yes, images will open in the same window if the lightbox js file has not loaded.
I was actually thinking about this last night and will be releasing a small update soon to combat this issue.
I'll work on this asap and get a new release up soon. :)

Actually your site suffers from this very badly, your site takes a very long time to load. As such your users will experiance this problem.
But I would be suprised if anyone makes it to a product info page. Ive not sat around long enough to wait for a full page on your website to load so I could not really comment on your design - but you really should consider less is more!
Perhaps if you cleared your cache or have a look at your site on a different computer you would see that you have a lot of hard work to do! We are not all on 8mb broadband!
Alex if you sorted this problem I think this module would be awsume!!! Ive just put it on my test site and it really is classy - adds so much to it. I will owe you big style if you can fix this.
Thanks for your hardwork - :D
Every second that a your website takes to load you lose 10% of internet surfers.
Re: Critical problem with Lightbox
Who's site are you referring to?
The 'G Clef Jewelry' site loads normally for me, less than 5 seconds using Mozilla or IE 6.
