Anyone have ideas on how to add the tip module in?
FEC is really a great mod and installed perfectly.
I do have an issue though. Since switching to FEC, I lost the order delivery date capability in my store.
I look around in the file with winmerge between FEC and order delivery date but I can t figure it out.
Is there away to have both of these mod working together? if yes, how please?
How do you add a delivery date option to FEC?
Any suggestion will be more than welcome

I have installed the mod and it works.
I find it very nicely made and working well.
Unfortunately for Italy there is a part missed and it is the possibility for the customer to input VAT and CF when needed.
I have mod the login module in order to make the fileds CF and VAT to appera, but then the data are not transfered to the customer's data like it is obvious.
I wonder if it is possible to know which is the file that gets the data from the module and save them to the database or if someone have already creatd the files needed to comply with VAT and CF needs.

Hi there, I'm having a problem when someone is trying to change the address its sold to, =On the checkout page when someone click to change the address the window is trying to get the language files and images from the wrong place e.g. the submit button is tryign to be brought from
/fec/includes/templates/Diagonal/buttons/english/button_submit.png
when It is actually at
/includes/templates/Diagonal/buttons/english/button_submit.png
Is there any reason why this is happening and how It would be fixed?

when payment failed, there is NO order shown in administrator panel, why? how to let it produce order at first, and then go to checkout?
I found that there are a few language defines missing for the admin section:
on the customers page:
TABLE_HEADING_COWOA
and in the edit Customer page
COWOA_SECTION_HEADING
COWOA_STATUS_FALSE or COWOA_STATUS_TRUE depending on the customer status

I am using FEC on Zen Cart v.139h and have had no problems until today.
I had to start using Zone Rate for my shipping and after enabling it and setting it up, FEC won’t work.
What happens is - customer fills in name, address, etc and hits submit and gets an INTERNAL SERVER ERROR.
I checked with my hosting co and they could find anything wrong with my files. If you turn FEC OFF, all works ok, if you turn FEC ON and Zone Rates OFF all works ok. Something in FEC is clashing with Zone Rate Shipping. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi there. I've searched the entire forum and didn't find the answer. Is there a way to set up free shipping for the customers who want to pay through credit card? I thought that FEC will allow me to do this but it seems it doesn't. Please help! Thank you.

Modules directory of downloaded files does not contain a "YOUR-TEMPLATE" directory.

I believe the latest version is 1.11, but I am running the latest version from the Numinix web sit on Zen Cart version 1.3.9h and have had no problems.

I using zencart version v151 and fec 1.11. Installed paypal express check out and google check out. Checkout has paypal as the only option. clicking confirm order taking me to paypal site. On check out page,I do not see buy with google option. Please suggest some pointers to fix it.
On shopping cart page, i see both paypal,buy with google, proceed to checkout options. google check out is working fine from shoppng cart.

the 'docs' folder is the documentation for the installation guide so you don't load that folder to your server.Quote:

That's wierd. I read and performed the steps of the FEC installation when I first installed it but CS/JSS loader didn't show up in the config. I re-did the steps and it appears now.

Its works fine on my website.
But one small problem, it wont show any alert message for input field wrong. it wont create account good but does not let know customer what they have not input or wrong input to create account.

I have FEC 1.11.0 installed on Zen-Cart 1.5.0. When a different shipping option is selected on step 2 of checkout, it doesn't update on step 3. This is happening on all browsers. We do have CSS Javascript loader installed. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
I've just noticed that error messages do not display when using FEC. If I try and place an order via Paypal using an incorrect address, Paypal sends me back to step 2 of checkout. If we turn FEC off, there is an error message displayed at the top saying the address in invalid (error code 10736). However, if FEC is turned on, no error message is displayed, so the customer has no idea why their order didn't go through.

Hi, I am using zencart v1.5.1. I installed FEC mod. Footer is missing from login page when 'easy signup and login' is set to false under fes settings in admin. If it is true, footer is showing.
Steps: added a product to cart,clicked proceed to checkout, login page is displayed with missing footer.

I downloaded a fresh version of FEC yesterday morning, uploaded all files as instructed. But when I go into my admin area and turn on the FEC, and go to my site to test the mod. When I click on checkout it gives me blank page. Is their something else I need to do or how can I fix this problem?

When I did that as well as showing this instead of a blank checkout page which is not the correct checkout process. I went ahead & just deleted the tpl_checkout_default.php, from the/public_html/test/includes/templates/MY FOLDER/templates/tpl_checkout_default.php to put it back where it was before.

-Default country set to 'United States' in admin.
Issue - The dropdown menu says 'Please choose your country' in the default position, 'United States' is the first position in the dropdown menu, followed by the alphabetical list of countries. I want 'United States' in the default position instead of 'Please choose your country'. If you choose the 'Checkout Without Account' option, the dropdown menu is setup this way, with United States in the default position.
How can I replace 'Please choose your country' with 'United States' as the default selection on the login page dropdown menu?

with the FEC plugin, there are 3 options when getting to the checkout page.
New customer, Returning Customer and COWAO. On my site the Returning Customer and COWAO are working fine. but the New Customer part is not working. after filling out the form completely and pressing submit, i get a slew of error messages stating that many of the required fields were not filled out (when in fact they were).
Has anyone here had the same experience? or know how to remedy?

I am having the same problem as tcarden. When a customer attempts to create a new account and does not check the "Same address for billing/shipping" then error messages come up asking if the first name is correct, the last name is correct, the address correct ?etc...
I checked the error logs and on one occasion there was a PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function RecordCount() on line 395. I compared it to the create_account.php file from a fresh FEC module download and it was the same with the exception of an extra { on the php file that is on my site. So I tried removing the extra { but it spit out another error: PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' on line 708. So I removed both and the Log In page went directly to the "You have successfully created an account" message without any fields to input customer information. Scrapped that...
Then I looked up the original error: PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function RecordCount() on a php forum and it looked like two statements were reversed.
This is what is in the FEC module download on the create_account.php:
$found_exact_iso_match = ($zone->RecordCount() == 1);
if ($zone->RecordCount() > 1) {
and what was suggested in the php forum for this type of error is this:
if ($zone->RecordCount() > 1) {
$found_exact_iso_match = ($zone->RecordCount() == 1);
I tried switching the statements and that did not work either. The Log In page came up blank. I am back to square one and am doing things way above my skill set so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Configuration - Fast and Easy Checkout Configuration
Under the admin-configuration-Fast and Easy Checkout Configuration I have an almost empty page.
The entire setting of Fast and Easy Checkout Configuration does not display.
Just installed the Fast and Easy Checkout Configuration, everything went well I set the options as it was described in the installation guide. Tried how it works, everything was great.
Installed the COWOA, screwed up my css and page layout, so I uninstalled everything that was related to COWOA. Site is back on normal look, but Fast and Easy Checkout disappeared. I went to check in admin, the link for the FEC is there but the page is almost empty.
I reinstalled the entire FEC again, the same way I did before. When I reinstalled the SQL there was a few error messages saying it is already exist.
I also reinstalled my entire admin folder together with the includes folder twice and I still get an almost empty page after I click on the "Fast and Easy Checkout Configuration"
Any ideas, please?
are you saying that you have installed fec AND cowoa? i.e two separate mods? If so then that is your problem... FEC already has COWOA built in.Quote:

i've had to work on other things for the past couple of days but i have to solve this definitely
