Re: Stock by Attribute v1.5.0
I installed this add-in and I am able to add stock levels by attributes, but when I bring up the product in a browser it shows total stock number for item but each radio button has out of stock written beside it.
Any ideas what I may have done wrong?
Re: Stock by Attribute v1.5.0
Hi everyone,
I have installed the products with attributes and dynamic drop downs addons which I love but unfortunately doesn't work with some of my products.
All the dresses on the site are stock items so the addons works perfectly. The problem comes with my corsets which are made to order. The corsets have many variables and unless I state that there is one corset in stock for every variant then it shows out of stock when you get to the check put. If i do this the admin page for products with attributes stock become so slow to load that it fails to load and even if it does the page is too long.
The dresses can be seen working at:
http://www.curvesandcorsets.com/the-...-dress-company
and the corsets at:
http://www.curvesandcorsets.com/made...erbust-corsets
Can any one suggest a way a to make the corsets stock to be ignored?
Thanks in advance,
john
Re: Stock by Attribute v1.5.0
New version submitted, 1.5.1.2, I tried to upload it here, but the file size exceeded the allowable limit for uploads.
There have been a number of updates to this version. Most files have been updated, with some significant changes, see the file Updates.txt in the package. A new Users Guide is included that explains installation, configuration, product attribute set-up, and describers new and updated behaviors and functionality in the installation script, it contains the following topics: (Installation| Configuration | Attribute Stock Setup | Optional Update | Optional Export / Import).
This version should resolve most of the comments and questions recently posted to the forum, please read the Users Guide.
I would like to extend Thanks to member Kevin205, Kevin provided valuable suggestions, testing, and especially the work generating the Users Guide, Thank You!

A few questions (actually suggestions for future updates):
- What did you remove to bring the size down?
- There's a duplicate image in your instructions subfolder
- Is there a technical reason for still using jQuery 1.2.6 (from 2011)? (Note that jQuery 1.10 (or worst 1.9) is slated to be included in ZC v1.6.0)

Hello,
The size significantly increased due to the addition of the images for the users guide (whent from 132k to 1.4mb, with the images being 1.24mb of that change).
The file Updates.txt in the instructions folder lists the files I modified, moved, and replaced.
The jQuery was working, I did not think to replace it since it worked.
I can replace it in the next version (or this one but I already submitted it) I would just need to know which version is appropriate.

The upload has been queued for review.

Well, jQuery went through some compatibility changes between jQuery versions 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, etc.
So the right version is the latest one for which the custom jQuery code used by the plugin actually still works correctly. (Or better yet, is upgraded to be compatible with modern jQuery versions ... since that will definitely be necessary in order to make the next upgrade to ZC v1.6 when it is released. Something to keep in mind as you plan for next updates you're working on.)
Re: Stock by Attribute v1.5.0
I've got a minor problem. I know it will be an easy fix but just can't seem to find the answer. In my dropdowns, if a product is out of stock, rather than it being bold, it is showing the <b> </b> tags instead. Anyone else come across this?
Re: Stock by Attribute v1.5.0
Try this, in the file:
includes\languages\english\extra_definitions\products_with_attributes.php
Remove the <b> and </b> wrapped around the text on line 12.
Re: Stock by Attribute v1.5.0
I have this Mod installed on my site.
When I had it installed on my old site ( 1.3.8 )
I created a new product and DID NOT add attribute values and it would set it up to unlimited.
Now that I upgraded, (1.5.1) It sets it to default to Out Of Stock
Is there a way to set it the same way I had it?
I am putting in alot of drop shippers and it would be alot easier to add them
in bulk without having to add stock levels to every product.
