Hi,
I *so* wanted this plugin and app, but can't get it to work. Plugin install went fine, and I was able to add the app to the FB page, but haven't been able to configure the service. Someplace in this thread switching to a different browser helped someone else, I haven't been so lucky. Tried Chrome 26, Firefox 20, IE9, Safari 5 and Opera 12 (all with Windows 7). The only one that would actually let me sign up and access the configuration screen was Safari, but then I've been unable to configure the app - I was able to save "My Details", but each time I edit "Settings", after I click "save" I'm redirected to the splash page, and when I access the app again, all "Settings" fields are blank.
Any insight shall be appreciated. Thank you!
Magz
Hi Magz,
When this has happened previously, we have generally found it to be due to the Facebook cookie being blocked. This can sometimes happen because of ad-blockers, which often stop cookies in iframes. Alternatively it could be the data entered is causing an error in the actual app so it is not saving the details. We would recommend just trying to save the minimum possible data and see it that works.
If the problem persists, we are more than happy to help configure your app on your behalf, but we need to know your settings and plug-in key. Please contact the support team directly via: http://support.ecommercebrowser.com/ so that your details are kept private.
Kind regards,

Hi Bright,
I loaded your app yesterday to trial it - I have 6, maybe 7 ZC websites that I want to attribute to relative FB pages so I am taking a good look at the best way to do this. First thing I noticed is there is no 'home' tab in the store and hence navigation is very poor - this could be due to the template I am using (if so this could be an issue as I do not want to change template) or it could be the way I set things up - maybe take a look for me please https://www.facebook.com/DazzlersAccessories
Also having read through some of the thread I came across this post;
Does this still hold true today? Does your app work properly on tablets and smartphones?Quote:

The most important thing, is these apps work on a phone, which none of them do as the Facebook phone app / mobile version doesn't show embedded FB apps.
cheers,
Mike
Hi Mike
If you don't want to just use the free 'lite' image gallery version, we general recommend that people with multiple websites, sign up for a resellers account. As it provide between 10%-50% discount on the subscription cost and allow you to manage all apps in one location.
Reseller registration can be found here:

Not sure fully what you mean about the home tab. At present the banner at the top links to your website home, and the inital land page of the app can be access via the "View" menu in the left hand column. Also the main navigation is always present so it a user wish to move between product category this can be done with reasonably easy without needing to return to the home of the app.
As for mobile access, the system works on mobiles but Facebook still doesn't support Page apps on mobile version. At present, there is no way to add app tabs/tiles on the mobile version on the Facebook Pages, and as such there is no way to identify which shop to display when someone requests the app.
The only solution we have at present are either manually linking to the mobile version:
http://m.facebook.com/apps/136002413...02548113095282
Or alternatively, when a customer places links on their website add a GET parameter ref=ts to the Facebook URL, which will stop it redirecting to the mobile version. e.g.
http://www.facebook.com/eCommerceBrowser?ref=ts

I have loaded your plugin on a FB page and it works fine. On that FB page I have 'pages' which are pages for other ZC websites and it seems that I cannot load your app to these 'pages' - I keep getting thrown back to the admin page and when I insert the plugin key it reverts back to a key code which I can only assume is the plugin code for the store that belongs to the FB page. Is there a solution to this or do I have to have separate FB 'accounts/pages' for each site if I want a store for each site?
cheers,
Mike
Hi Mike,
Sorry, each Facebook page can only link to one shop. This is because Facebook sends the page identifier and this ID is then linked to a single store. However multiple Facebook pages can be linked to the same Facebook account these pages can link either to the same shop or different shops.
If you are trying to administer multiple shops, we would recommend doing one at a time (e.g. not using multiple tabs) as the encrypted Facebook authentication cookie can cause the app to link to the most recent store you open rather than the existing store you just tabbed too.
Kind regards
