Hi I am a newbie, Hacking away at this.
WhenI try to import my orders
I get this:
Transaction not in balance , make sure the amounts in the detail area on the form for this transaction equals the amount at the top of the form
Any suggestions? Was I supposed to do something first?
I saw in a prior post about missing product numbers. Checked that. Its not the case.
Hi,
This almost always is because of one of the following:Quote:

Some products in the store do not have model numbers
(rare random failures) rounding patch suggested in manual has not been applied to authorize.net payment module
If you open the iif file in Excel you will be able to compare the order line items to the invoice in Zen-Cart and will right away see which item is missing or has the incorrect dollar amount.
Thanks,
Adam
I suppose it goes without saying that I should fully understand and configure the quickbooks side before importing data,,,, :lookaroun
Yup, QB has to be fully set up and functional, and then in QBI all the configuration settings in red have to be set properly, and the payments and discounts set up and matched as needed. Don't skip any steps in the QBI manual, and then it will all work great!Quote:

Ok.
Its going to be a crash course.
My site has been getting alot of traffic lately.
I cant manualy enter all this data anymore.
Hi, Quick questions as I am not a quick books user but looking for an accounting package that will integrate with Zencart.
Does this mod allow the import/export of and can Quickbooks cope with stock by attributes?
Thanks
MG
Quickbooks does keep track of stock by attributes -- in QB attributes are Sub Items. QBI imports Zen-Cart attributes as QB Sub Items. If you want stock by attributes in Zen-Cart, you have to install the StockAttributes contribution. Since QB keeps its own inventory, it does not matter if the contribution is installed in Zen-Cart -- this only affects whether your customers are notified if the attribute is in stock.Quote:

Adam,
thanks for the reply.
If I have a red tshirt in sizes how then do I get the stock for size 0-3 and size 3-6 for that t-shirt. If I have gift wrap as an attribute so people can select a paper to gift wrap but for which I don't hold stock (i.e I have a red t-shirt 0-3 which can be gift wrapped in ballon paper) the current stock by attribute module will keep a record of the product as red t-shirt 0-3 gift wrapped in blue paper.
I want to be able to keep track of a red t-shirt 0-3 only whether it is wrapped in blue or pink paper.
Hope this is explained okay can I map these to the same red t-shirt 0-3 and will Quickbooks keep stock for me.
If so this is very exciting and a solution I am desperate to find.
I have not got quickbooks so need to know the answers before spending £300 pound on it (Which version do you recommend/ is the minimum that this will work with)
Thanks
MG
