Hey, I'm looking to create a shopping cart / secure payment system using ProtX but I have little knowledge in it all.
I am at a decent level of PHP & MySQL so this is not a problem, but is this module something that can easily be used and altered to my exact needs?
Will be looking to donate if its what I need :)

You don't actually need any PHP/MySQL skills to use the module as it fully supports ZC's module/override system. CSS skills are useful though to add in the styles (As per the docs ;) ).Quote:

Conor can I make a request for the next version please.
Can you switch the order in which Valid from and Exp Dates are shown in the mod to make the flow of the transaction more fluid.

Will the plugin work only with ZC or is it possible to use with a simple shopping cart I have created myself ?
As it would mean stripping down ZC to bare minimum as I only require a shopping cart with ProtX payment system, otherwise I will have to look into ProtX myself which I have no experience of.

One thing I would have to add is that the module as it stands is GPLed so you'd have to make your cart software available under the GPL also. Legally speaking of course.

The modules are done but the documentation and website are holding things up. We're doing our best to get these finished up asap so we can release but they are taking quite some time.
In the meantime, as stated previously, please e-mail us at the contact e-mail address on the module's website and we'll send you the free/basic version of the module!
