I think that may have been there as a bug, or rather typo in the default value for the table. It should be fixed in the latest version or in my unreleased version at least :p

Hi folks,
I'm trying to get shipping insurance to work on one of my sites, and I'm seeing no change in the totals. I had the earlier 2b version installed (apparently not working either, unbeknownst to me), just upgraded to 3.13 and still no go. I'm running Zen 1.3.7 on this store.
In a post a short while ago someone listed their settings as:
Shipping Insurance
Enable Insurance Module
true
Offer Shipping Insurance?
true
Sort Order
500
etc..
My settings show:
Shipping Insurance
Enable Insurance Module
true
Sort Order
500
(ie there's no "Offer Shipping Insurance?" line). I'm guessing that may be part of the problem.
I'm also seeing no matches on a search of the db for "insurance" or "insur" other than what appears to be some built in FedEx insurance stuff.

I tried installing version 3.10 and it works fine. v3.13 won't work for me with Zen Cart v1.3.8.

But I have one question, I offer free s&h in the US for orders of $300+ and I would like for the insurance to be free as well, I don't want to charge for insurance and not charge for shipping, is there a way to modify the code to achieve this??

Downgrading shouldn't matter. If you do not have the international_zones.sql installed, setting a zone to "none" will cause that table to be deactivated. This is why the a zone that includes ALL ZONES has been included with the package. A new version is being released now with other bug fixes.Quote:
