It shouldn't take that long at all. The stats won't appear right away as there is a "time delay" that Google updates its stats within. However, it SHOULD say "receiving data" immediately after you click "check status" and the verification is complete.Quote:

The key is "clicks on an AdWords ad". If you are not running a Paid Search campaign, then Google Conversion tracking will not "work for you". In that case, you will want to make sure you setup Goal Tracking and e-commerce within Google Analytics in order to track conversions.
I am just completing a video tutorial on how to setup Goals tracking, Conversion tracking, Sales Funnels etc... I should have it up at my site in the coming week.
It may help you make sure you have everything in place.

Bill, keep in mind that you do NOT need to create a "funnel" in order for Conversion tracking to work. The funnel process is very helpful in finding out where in the conversion process you have problems.Quote:

Ok after a day and half I give up. I installed the mod, I re-installed the mod, I have done a manual code insertion, I viewed the source code and the tracking code was there and the account number is correct. I am running ZC 1.3.7 and I am running out of tylenol. Anyone have any ideas why google can't seem to verify the code is in place?

Yeah I have been playing with it non-stop, however with the code in there once, twice, or three times it STILL doesnt register with google. I am working on removing the extras
