Re: MultiSite Module Support Thread
To lidlchris: Thank you very much for the thorough process information that you posted a couple of days ago on 3/25/13, re: "Here is the process that i used to install multi sites and add new sites to the main one. This process has taken over 2 months because the lack of good documentation targeted to newbies and the overall lack of support in this forum (SOME people have been very helpful for some parts). So i'm posting this so maybe i can help one person who is struggling."
I'm not just a newbie to ZenCart, I'm a newbie to shopping carts completely. I haven't even decided which one to use yet, and I need to decide two weeks ago! Since I only know a very tiny bit of coding, just enough to find and fix little things; your detailed explanation is VERY helpful and illuminating. With all that you've been through getting this MultiSite module to work for you, what made you stick with it, and ZenCart, with the many other carts that are available? Which others did you try, and why didn't you use them instead?
Thanks again VERY much!

Re: MultiSite Module Support Thread
How many others here are successfully managing multiple stores from one Admin utilizing this MultiSite module, and how many other stores are you managing?
Thanks!

Re: MultiSite Module Support Thread
ZC 1.39h
I am trying to understand how to implement Multisite 0.4.1 to my existing version ZC1.39h with two urls using one database without much luck.
What do I have to do?
Do I install another new zc 1.3.9h (site2) for other url and then implement the changes to both, the existing ZC site1 and then site2?
Any input is greatly appreciated.:(
Re: MultiSite Module Support Thread
Hi, I am successfully running Multi Site module on my shopping cart. It is a great module however, I would prefer one day to get it working on sub directories and use under one SSL certificate, as of currently it is using sub domains.

Re: MultiSite Module Support Thread
i'm having a problem integrating 'paypal express checkout' with multi sites. The paypal checkout is set up correctly because it worked perfectly with the main site. but when you click on the paypal checkout for ANY of the add-on sites, it tries to go to domainname.com/ipn_main_handler.php?type=ec and just brings up a blank page. I'm sure i must just have a setting off??

I've tried Yahoo Stores, Sunshop, OSCommerce, and every Wordpress Shopping cart out there and for my taste they all had way too many missing parts or flaws. I know there are more expensive ones out there that probably do almost everything i need but for the price (free) Zen Cart is not too hard to manage or modify and there are a lot of users and programmers who know it. Also many shopping carts are 'encoded' so you can't modify them very easily to what you want.

No sorry, I have about a 6 paid projects to finish, so there is not much time to do other things.
Besides that I am working an a new multisite module, which will be easier to manage, and it uses the database rather than the comment system that is used now. Any eta on this project is unknown
