I think I've looked through every post relating to Internet Explorer and the positioning of the product description and tried both the above suggestions with no success.
As others have noted, this problem only occurs with MSIE (and I've tried turning off compatibility view as well).
Any other ideas for getting the product description (and to a lesser extent, categories) moved to the left (more centered on the page) in Internet Explorer v9?

Hi Amy
Clyde Jones passed away last weekend, so i'll try and field this
Your followus sidebox is missing an internal div
if you look at the other sideboxes they have an internal div
for instance the information sidebox has the following after the h3 heading and surrounding the content of the box
and therefore controlling the background of the box
<div id="informationContent" class="sideBoxContent">
So for your followus box you could
basically copy that so it ends up like
<div class="leftBoxContainer" id="followus" style="width: 150px">
<h3 class="leftBoxHeading" id="followusHeading">Follow Us ..</h3>
<div id="followUsContent" class="sideBoxContent">
Social network links here
</div><!-- end followus content -->
</div><!--// eof: followus //-->
and it should just work
Re: Forest Path Template Support Thread
I'm very sorry to hear about Mr. Jones. I found his memorial page and signed his book.
Appreciate your stepping in to help with my sidebox issue. I added the lines you suggested, but was still having no luck. Turned out to be (possibly a combination of errors and omissions!) a missing period.
I had:
$content = '<a href="http:
instead of:
$content .= '<a href="http:
Looks much better now. :smile:
If you also have ideas on the MSIE alignment issue, I'm all ears.
Thanks!
