Ok now go to your google analytics account and check your status....what does it say? Click on it? Make sure your url has no typos in your google analytics account...now go have a beer and wait till tomorrow then report back....it will take some time to get data....

Ok well I officially win idiot of the week award. That is what I get for working with only 1 pot of coffee in me. Ok well on to play with my new toy. Thanks cuda.
Well to be honest I am not sure. I am ASSUMING (which I hate to do) that I just didnt give the verification process enough time. It is not as instant as they say it is. So I kept tinkering and ended up with three versions of the script on my home page. Once I got rid of the other two and left it alone for awhile it started working. It took some time before the stats actually started showing up by I knew THAT part would take time.
I think you hit it right on the head here. For some reason, it can take an ETERNITY it seems for the verification and "data gathering" to set itself. And then others, it is almost instantly set to "receiving data".
I have noticed it on several occasions and it is not "Module" related (so no, it is not the Simple Google Analytics Mod). It must be something on the Google end. I have a site right now that I just installed Google analytics on, and it is NOT Zen related. I also entered the code by hand manually (as usual). Guess what ... right, I get the "Waiting for Data" message.
On the other hand, I set it up the same day for a totally different site and what do you know. I get the "Receiving Data" message the same day (within seconds of submitting). Go figure. :)
hey guys..
i have rollovers on my site.. using onLoad="preloadImages();"
how would I combine that with
<body id="<?php echo $body_id . 'Body'; ?>"<?php if($zv_onload !='') echo ' onload="'.$zv_onload.'"'; ?>>
:smile:
anyone have a suggestion? :lookaroun
I have intermittent checkout_success stats coming through. Sometimes they register through Google Analytics, most times they don't. Anyone have any ideas?

What do you mean "they" register? Are you talking a "successful sale"? Are you talking "Conversion Tracking" (within Google Analytics)?
Conversion tracking will only register if the click came through a paid search ad (per Google).
Let us know exactly "what" is not tracking so we can point you in the right direction as to "why".
