Wow. I see what you mean about it disabling Cat Dressing. It eliminates all styling or function of any kind associated with that, whether dependent on file checking or not. It acts as if Cat Dressing is uninstalled, not overridden - there is no trace of the class modifications Cat Dressing makes in the categories box output.
It also eliminates the reference to stylesheet_categories_dressing.css - that file is no longer being loaded, and that is an automatic function which is not dependent on a custom file calling it. This is weird...
Yes it does. I didn't notice that. I have no idea whats going on here.
Do you?
John
The closest comparison I can make is that SEO URLs switches the site to a different template, one that doesn't have Cat Dressing installed in it.
Which one did you install first? Could SEO URLs set or require something about file access that is missing when Cat Dressing is installed later?
Glenn,
Installed URLs first. All it is really is just a few files. Not sure how it works but its not a sql. does some work with .htaccess too.
John
Hmm. And the Cat Dressing files are still there in your /12volt/ template folders?
Where do the SEO URLs files install?
I wonder what would happen if Cat Dressing were installed first. I also wonder what will happen to any other mod you might install (do you have any others?)

I tried adding dressing .css to my own and that didn't work either.

Glenn,
I just saw your traffic in the test store. Thanks for your time.
Did you say you added the Cat Dressing css to your main stylesheet? Is it still there? I didn't see it when I looked.
No, I took it out. Returned both to original.
