Hello,
I would love to have this CSS drop down menu open up to a larger selection option of sub-categories when you hover over a main category. I have included a "screen shot" of what I'm trying to achieve. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. The site I took the screen shot from sells safety supplies. You can see I was hovering over "Personal Protection" and a very large subcategory popped up and offered quite a few subcategories. The sub category links are simple text links.

And now the question:I'm trying to create new "About Us" page."About Us" menu button has already been created.I've added necessary info to tpl_drop_menu and created define_about.php in /includes/languages/english/html_includes.
When I click About Us menu button, the page is empty and there's no text which I inserted.
How do I enable "About Us" page?Am I missing any steps?
Please HELP:unsure:

Anyone have an answer to my post above (post #1871)? I think quite a few people would benefit from having the drop down menu offer a larger selection option in the drop down. See the attached screen shot in the post above. (#1871) Thanks.

I posted this query to the AppleZen support site but there has been no response so I am wondering if the same or similar rules apply to this dropdown menu.
The AppleZentemplate came with 6 dd menu bars in the header.
I removed two sections from the DDown menus and copied the 'HOME' or 'catalog' header and submenus to position # two (leaving a net five headers). Thru css.stylesheet I adjusted the header width to 20% (from the previous 16.67%) -that worked and the headers refilled the full width of the header bar BUT the submenus still are at old size.
Q1 --how to adjust width of each to match new header size?
Q2 --- The first header is OK/ The second header is a copy of the old INFORMATIOON header redefined to become the new BOOKS header.
I need to make each a book("S & G At Home" etc.) with either an internal link to EZ Page 2/3 etc so I can alter the contents there OR an external URL link I thought I had defined these OK but for the life of me I cannot work out how to substitute/ link and change the name for each of the existing four.
Its a great site.. but support seems to be limited at this time.

You need to find this code:

Change the width to 100% or if you want the drop downs to be wider 120% etc. I have changed mine to px for cross browser spacing issues.

Hey all,
I have been using this mod for the past year or so.
I just noticed that my text in the drop down menus are not correctly aligned they are cut off and extend over the box.

I would like to extend the width to match the main buttons on the header. I have tried through the css but could not get it to work.
Any advise would be great thanks.

I have been using Fly out drop down for 4 years. Really love it!
Just yesterday I changed the font color of the level 1 into white and its background color into red. Then I noticed somthing interesting happened. I have been working on solving this little problem for hours but still failed. I really hope some experts can give me an advice.
See the attachement best4future1 and best4future2, you will see when I hover over the level 2 or level 3, the font color of level 1 becomes white, making it blend in with the background color. in this case, "bilingual book store" completely blend in with its background.
I really want the text "biligual book store" to show in red when I hover over level 2 or level 3. What should I do?

It looks like you simply don't have a colour on one of your :hover styles in the stylesheet.
If you download firefox and firebug you can see exactly what is what and it saves you so much time.
