Re: Mailbeez After Sales Modules
hi ken,
you will find the most complete and recent repository of MailBeez Modules on mailbeez.com.
With the version check features it is easy to see, if you are up-to-date and what might be new.
enjoy mailbeez and let me know what your experiences and results are!

The date-calculation takes complete days passed - you can enter whatever you like - also e.g. "0.5" should work (haven't tried) The calculation is done from "now" where "now" is the point of time MailBeez is triggered to send eamils
2. if you set it to 0 it will send right away when mailbeez is triggered. this could cause someone getting the email while just have signed up, but havn't completed the order yet. I woudl recommend a delay to avoid this.
Sorry yes i did mean the "nopurchase" module. I set the settings to 0 for the days as i want it to send right away, i take your comments about it can send right away even if customer still signing up but i keep enough of a delay in my cron job (running it manually atm until i know it works) so im happy. Problem is ive set it to 0 and it still seems to only send the day after. I had a sign up yesterday (12/01/2011 20:00:57), i ran the campaign and nothing got sent, ran it today and it sent that email!! - Why is it not taking the 0 setting into account?

4. currently only in the table mailbeez_tracking.
The next release (V2.0) of MailBeez will support reports to make it easier to see what has happened. Hope I will be able to release it this month.
yes i have upgraded everything (all modules and Mailbeez itself), its all on latest versions. Ive created a simple report atm to read the tracking table so im happy with that for time being - looking forward to version 2 tho :)

Thanks. Have the modules installed, and all appears to be working, except....
To test the "customers without purchase" module (I've already edited the e-mail, and added my own graphic) I click on the "view mail (HTML) button, and it shows me the e-mail I've edited, and the graphic I added. But, when I then click on "send test e-mail" the e-mail I receive in my inbox is different. In fact, the letter I receive is actually what appears when I click on the "view mail (txt)" button. So, to summarize...
clicking on the "view mail (html)" button and the "view mail (txt)" give a preview of TWO different e-mail letters.
the e-mail received after clicking "send test email" is the email that is previewed when clicking the "view mail (txt)" button.
Have I made sense? Thanks for your help,
Ken

hi ken,
makes absolutely sence, since there is a template for the html version and separate template for the txt version - this tutorial should help to understand:
http://www.mailbeez.com/documentatio...tting-started/
whether a customer gets the html or the txt version is depending on the customer's settings, more about this in the FAQ on
http://www.mailbeez.com/support/
does it work?

Re: Mailbeez After Sales Modules
This looks to be a nice addition to all ready great cart software. There is one issue just like the email issue with zen cart. The formatting of the email does not render right in outlook 2007 and gmail. The width ends up full screen. I have redesigned the zen-cart templates but do not know where to start with the mailbeeze.
Is there a way to make this work in outlook 2007 and 2010?
Thanks
Re: Mailbeez After Sales Modules
Wow, I have just installed the Mailbeez software and a few of the modules and I thought I would dip into the forums to see what others are saying.
I certainly did not expect 19 pages of posts but still, I have read through the all of the posts and I am happy with what I am seeing.
Cord has certainly been busy developing this superb bit of software.
I have a few ideas for email marketing campaigns that I may even develop as new modules, so I am looking forward to that.
Just going to spend the rest of the day playing now.
Thanks Cord for a great contribution, especially as it works on both Zen Cart and OsCommerce, which covers most of my clients.
Tony
Re: Mailbeez After Sales Modules
Sorry me again already.
Is there any expected date for the email throttling?
My largest client has over 25,000 clients all hungry for marketing emails!!

Re: Mailbeez After Sales Modules
Sorry but this is a pet hate of mine.
Can you make your HTML code XHTML 1.0 Transitional compliant, seeing as this is what your DOCTYPE header says you code is.
I have attached an amended v1.7 admin/mailbeez.php file as an example.
Thanks
