CSS Dropdown menu for the header- With Categories!

Hi .. I originally started with information sidebox .. i then installed your lovely flyout menu .. and turned off information sidebox .. which I have now switched on again for the purpose of this forum.

In my information sidebox I have a faq link and in my horizontal menu .. i do not have a faq link (which I want). Also in my horizontal menu .. I have specials under the home tab (this I dont want) and I have switched it off via admin>layoutbox controller.

PPS I am also wanting to install the about us module to get an extra page which I know how to do but will it show up in the horizontal menu?

i have been searching and posting everywhere trying to figure out how to modify this.

i want to center all the drop down menus.

also i want to remove some of the sub categories but i cant figure it out for the life of me. please help.

Hi all.
I'm new to zencart. I installed the CSS Flyout menue but all the links are in my side boxes as well so now I'll what to uninstall it, the css and the header menue. Can some one tell me the correct way to uninstall the header menue.

Hi Bernhard .. if you want the horizontal menu .. you can switch off the sidebox menus via the Admin .. go to Tools/Layout Box Controller .. find information and categories sideboxes and set to off.

If you want to uninstall the fly out menu .. you have to delete all the files you installed that are in the module.

I whant to uninstall the fly out menu inluding the PHP menu in the header. Unfotunatly it came with the template Patriot and changed the header file with the template installation. I try to figure it out for several hours but no sucsess.
By the way i found out it causes validation errors.
Also I came to this thread because it was started by the designer of the menu. I gues Jade is not checking in eny more.

Hi Bernhard .. I am a beginner too .. so if this doesnt help .. it might be okay to post in another thread as this one doesnt seem to get alot of attention. I did find this module after a lot of searching and if you download it and read the readme text .. you may be able to work backwards to uninstall it.

I figured out. First find the file /template/tp_header.php and take out the following code.
<!--bof-drop down menu display-->
<?php require($template->get_template_dir('tpl_drop_menu.php',DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'common'). '/tpl_drop_menu.php');?>
<!--eof-drop down menu display-->
<div class="clearBoth"></div>

After the code is gone the menu will not come up any more.
Then you can delite all related files like CSS and tp_drop_menu.php.....

1. how can i remove links from infromation menu or any other menues. i tried going to admin area of my website, but i could not remove it from there.
2. i wanted to remove Home and login and search from top of the page.

same here, i need to either delete the information header. Or make it read the pages in the ezpages.
