Maybe, just maybe, your configure.php needs some changes. Post it here without passwords etc
If you plan to use the subdomain, then stick with subdomain.
here it is:
Code:<?php

Okie, gotcha,
You have different url for ssl and non-ssl, which is why ssu_checks suggest a different type htaccess.
When you first tried it, what happens? (if you copy the exact content of htaccess), do you get 500 error or?
If I use the .htaccess as suggested (i.e. with a baseurl of /store/ ) it adds an extra '/store/' to http urls (i.e. store.splatcooking.net/store/ ) giving a 404 error but strips them from the https links (https://www.splatcooking.net/store becomes just https://www.splatcooking.net) so you end up at the parent page of the store entry.
Weird, since it should work the other way around:
add store to https and strip it from normal links.
If it is okie, and only if it is okie, set up a temporary ftp account for me so I can look into it.
I've pm'd you a temp account.
SSU 3.6.0 RC1 is now available, this release is still under testing, please do NOT use on live site yet.
New feature:
SSU now automatically builds link aliases and remove ALL identifiers from your links whenever possible.
For live sites, please wait until I rewrite the admin part, as of now the admin link alias manager does not have pagination, hence for store with thousands of products and categories you may not be able to manage the aliases at all.
As usual, I welcome anyone who is willing to test this out on their test site.
PS: I wanted to allow users to set the alias when they edit categories, products, etc as well, but that mean i will have to hack into zen core code, and I'm a bit reluctant to do that.
Since you wanted to know whay I did to fix your problem, you can view the changelog here:

Brilliant. Thank you.
