Reward Points Module for ZC v13x

Soooo.. ummmm did you miss/skip the conversation about updating this mod JUST above your post?????

Yes, I read the previous posts. The post you're referring to by countrycharm was dated January 25. The mod was updated on January 27, as indicated in the download section. This is why I posted my question, and I did so with the utmost respect to the conversation. Am I missing something here?

Countrycharm, I have a question regarding the most recent mod update (January 27). When uploading the files to ADMIN, there is a zip file for sqlpatch. After unzipping the file, should the upload appear as ADMIN > SQLPATCH > SQLPATCH.PHP. OR should it appear as ADMIN > SQLPATCH.PHP?

I tried both, and I'm still not seeing the reward links in the control panel.

Ahhhhh my bad.. I missed the part in your post where you indicated you were working with the most recent version.. I think an update was submitted over the weekend to correct the SQL files.. Countrycharm will need to confirm this though..

A new version has been submitted to the download area. Waiting on zen to approve it.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Reward Points is now compatible with zen cart version 1.5.0. Reward Points will still run on zen cart versions v1.3.8, v1.3.9. May also work with earlier versions. Reward Points does not overwrite any core files.

UPGRADING INSTALLATION FOR V1.5.0:

1) This Reward Points Module works fine, but if you have a TEST SERVER try it out before going live.

2) The 4 files in admin/includes/boxes/extra_boxes/ is obsolete and should be deleted or rename to something else until you are confident all is well. admin/includes/boxes is obsolete in v1.5.0 as well.

3) Added a define to admin/includes/extra_datafiles/reward_points_filenames.php and to
amin/includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/reward_points_definitions.php to make this work on zen cart 1.5.0. The define that was added is
define('BOX_CONFIGURATION_REWARD_POINTS', 'Reward Point Configuration');//moved from _dhtml.php for 1.5

4) Go into phpmyadmin and BACKUP THE DATABASE BEFORE INSTALLING.

5) Ensure you have carried out step 4)!

NEW INSTALLS

1) Upload all files in the zen_1.5.0 folder.

2) Run the included Reward Points newl.sql using the Zen-Cart Sql Patches tool
(admin -> tools -> install sql patches) for New Installs

Enjoy.....

keep getting this on a fresh 1.5.0 but it is there.

Thank You for bring this up. The issue has been fixed. A new update has been submitted in the downloads area. You can download it from here until zen cart has approve it. Make sure you upload all admin files again. This should fix the problem.

uninstalled but still gets this when going tocheckout_payment
