Can I copy all products under one category to another? in bulk?

Anytime I click the "Multiple Categories Link Manager" button I get taken back to the login screen.

This function worked before the last update as I use it semi regularly.

Hopefully this will begin the pay it forward for all the questions I've asked and for the ones still to come.

I personally am not familiar with the in's and out's of SQL but am much more comfortable with MS ACCESS. This is one reason I choose to use MS Access as my front end. All you have to do is set up a DNS to your SQL Database and viola. I find it much easier to copy, cut, paste, query in Access. And yes you can do bulk updates.

What version of Zen Cart are you using? :unsure:

If you go to the Tools .. Developers Tool Kit ... and in the bottom input box enter:
products_to_categories.php

and select Admin ... and click Search ...

what comes up on the version $Id ...

NOTE: do not show your Admin directory name if you quote it ...

Like the questions above mine is very similar.

I would like to copy in bulk products from one catagory to another.

NOT move them ...... but to copy a link into another catoagory.

At the moment i am doing this individually by coppying and then selecting the destination etc.

Is there a way how I can copy the links in bulk ...???

Go to the Category that you want to copy so that you can see the Products ...

Click on C, for Copy, on one of the Products and you will see a button for Multiple Categories Link Manager ... click that ...

Now fill in the information down in the bottom for:

Can you elaborate on why you want 2 identical sets of products?
There has to be more to this that you are not explaining?

I have a monthly book i'm adding, I have several years of them. SO I started the products as the month plus year. Was just trying to save some time

Also not sure what you are trying to accomplish.
If the cat name is not correct, change it.
Need them sorted different? Change the sort order.
If you want one cat with year and another with month and they will contain the same product(s), they should be linked or you will be dinged for duplicate content.
Perhaps another shot at the explanation?
