OK, well... no progress
I have checked and my C:\XAMPP folder has an admin folder and in there is an includes folder and in there is a configure.php file... which i had renamed from dist-configure.php
But when I run the install I still get these two messages:
Access denied for user 'encoreep_zc1'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
/admin/includes/configure.php does not exist
So... I still don't know where I am supposed to put in a password.. and still have no idea why the install does not find the configure.php file.
Don't know if this information copied from the failed install helps at all..

sorry dude can't help - me stuck at the ZC_Install page - I'm just getting a blank one :frusty: if I can fix that tonight I might see your issue and give u a shout :yes:
dist-configure.php becomes configure.php after the install
When you updated the php.ini you need to restart xampp. I had the same problem. No matter how many times you refresh the page or try to reinstall.Quote:
