Dear Zen Cart users,
It has come to our attention this morning that those people using Zen Cart as their shopping cart and Nochex for their payments are having technical difficulties.
We are aware of the problem and our technical team is working very hard to resolve the problem as we speak.
Nochex Merchant account holders can of course call their Account Manager for updates on the situation however we will also notify you via this forum page once a resolution has been found.
As soon as we have an update on the situation we will let you know.

P.S. We would also kindly ask that in future you do not publish Account Managers telephone numbers on the web as these telephone numbers are reserved for Merchant Account holders only and if published, will result in non Merchant account holders calling in where they would usually be asked to submit a support ticket via our website. Publishing numbers in this way will only mean that the Merchant Account Managers have to deal with calls from people who are not eligible for telephone support and this could potentially slow them down when dealing with genuine Merchant enquiries like yours.

Thank you NoChex for your efforts and for posting on this forum. So far it looks like you are doing all the right things to support your Zen Cart community users and I applaud you for it (for what its worth).

I've emailed and called twice leaving messages.
Just get voicemail. No callback.
Does anyone believe thet Charlotte Padmore is a real person?
I was told I would get an account manager, it seems "Charlotte Padmore" is either everyone's account manager and works very long hours or a generic name for a call centre.
Her email address [email protected] doesn't suggest a person, and when I call her number I'm told I will be put through to the "first available account manager", which happens to be Charlotte Padmore's voicemail.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH Nochex.

I'm working with Charlotte Padmore (she does exist!), Nick Fox (Sales Director), and Andy in the tech team. He has issued me with a code change in the NoChexAPC handler - which unfortunately didn't make any difference.
He has now asked me to turn on debug mode and put a transaction through. I have just done that and sent him the resulting debug emails.
They are working on it. He's phoning right now in fact...
I will keep you posted, and NoChex are keen to issue a fix through this page also.

OK - Andy at NoChex may have found the problem.
The 3rd Debug email contains this:

For some reason instead of getting back "AUTHORISED" we are getting back "AUTHORISE" and then the "D" a couple of lines further down.
I am going to change my nochex_apc_handler.php to look for "AUTHORISE" for now to test. Andy is going to look at what they have changed on their server which might cause it to appear on different lines as it does in the NoChex response.
Non ZenCart customers are not having the problem so the mystery is why is whatever the change is only making ZenCart put it on two lines.
Progress though I think...

Still stuck with the hateful PayPal though, hope this is fixed soon or just changed back.
