Me too! Upon spending more than 6 months per year dealing with a multitude of upgrades, I too decided to better spend my time trying to write a book or two. Then I hear the writers that sell best are those with social media sites and can afford to pay for PR. Everything it seems comes with massive learning on the j-curve. After several years of writing and research I have neither a complete book nor live website, but I have massive experience in doing both. Hopefully soon everything will quickly fall back into place.

Wow! It's nice knowing I'm not alone. So far as book sales...have you tried the Barnes & Noble self-publishing program?

I haven't looked into Barnes and Noble but several other self-publishers, including the print-on-demand outfit which once printed the Zen-Cart manual, and actual hardcopy printers. I expect to return to Zen Cart when at least one book is ready for publication to do merchandising and other business. My literary work is largely non-fiction (academic and popular) but has scope for several documentaries and even an epic movie to rival Troy.
