"Your shopping cart is empty!" error after adding item to cart...

Yesterday, I noticed that I have the same problem, though I was not able to add only in IE6(On my laptop I have IE8, which did not have the problem), so I went ahead and turned off my SSU module, which turned out to be the case. I had a wrong .htaccess file. In SSU module there is a SSU_check file, which can tell you exact content you need to put in your .htaccess. try it, it helped me)))

forgot to add, do not completely override your initial .htaccess file, just add the code!!
