So I'm using 1.3.9d...anyone else installed the mod with this version? There are some differences in code and I'm wondering if the changes affect the mod at all or if I can simply replace both files. (the tpl_modules_product_listing.php and the product_listing.php files)?
^Ditto
I'm also using 1.3.9d and also wanted to know if anyone has used this mod with this version... successes? failures?
I'm using 1.3.9d and just installed the mod. At first there was only one column and it never changed no matter what I set it to under admin. After a few hours of trying to fix it, I finally got it to work by taking out the tpl_modules_product_listing.php that came with the mod and putting my old one back in.
Edit- By my old one I mean the one that came in the default template when I downloaded it last week. :)
The originals of the files in the mod have not been changed since v1.3.8, so there should be no problem with the mod. Check the 138 mods tested on 139 thread for confirmation.
Note - It appears that this mod has not been confirmed as working or not working yet in that thread.
I have it working in 139d via the Single Listing Template mod, which IIRC was updated around 139b.
I had tried this mod but do not see how to use it just for the products_all page.
I do not want to change the layout for any other pages except for the products_all page where I want the product categories to be displayed three across.
Thanks
HI All,
I have added this add on to my site, I have a 4 column display, but some of my brands only have 2 products... When you look at these, they are out of alignment... How can I fix this.
Please help
thornhillguy - The Column Grid mod only applies to the product listing page, not the all products, featured, etc.
Develop&Promote - There is code in product_listing.php that sets the width of products based on the per-row setting, or the total number if less than that. You could disable the alternative calculation to have say 2 products aligned to the left. Search the forum to find where this has been discussed before; I will be back later if you still need help.
hi gjh42,
Thankyou for taking the time to help me out. I am still having issues with this problem. I am not great at PHP...I just know the basics...
I will carry on tinkering with it. Hopefully I will sort it. I am sure other people have had the same issue. I cant be the only one. I have searched so much, but not much info.
I wish my site was live so i could post the link.
Basic problem is that the 2 products are out of alignment. The images are pushed to the right. I hate that zen cart's width are percentages.
I look forward to your reply
Hey...just letting you know that ive fixed it.
line 238 from includes/modules/(template)/product_listing.php
I gave the box a width of 200px.PHP Code:
// Following code will be executed only if Column Layout (Grid Layout) option is chosen
if (PRODUCT_LISTING_LAYOUT_STYLE == 'columns') {
$lc_text = implode('<br />', $product_contents);
$list_box_contents[$rows][$column] = array('params' => 'class="centerBoxContentsProducts centeredContent back"' . ' ' . 'style="width: 200px' . $col_width . '%;"',
'text' => $lc_text);
$column ++;
if ($column >= PRODUCT_LISTING_COLUMNS_PER_ROW) {
$column = 0;
$rows ++;
Then changed css to suit.PHP Code:
' . 'style="width: 200px' . $col_width . '%;"',
Thanks for everyones help
You have left the $col_width and % in there, which ought to cause an error and probably have the inline styling ignored. Did you put a 200px width in the stylesheet?
A better way to alter this would be around line 100 in the Column Grid product_listing.php:Change toPHP Code:
// Used for Column Layout (Grid Layout) add on module
$column = 0;
if (PRODUCT_LISTING_LAYOUT_STYLE == 'columns') {
if ($num_products_count < PRODUCT_LISTING_COLUMNS_PER_ROW || PRODUCT_LISTING_COLUMNS_PER_ROW == 0 ) {
$col_width = floor(100/$num_products_count) - 0.5;
} else {
$col_width = floor(100/PRODUCT_LISTING_COLUMNS_PER_ROW) - 0.5;
}
}
// Used for Column Layout (Grid Layout) add on module
The remaining linePHP Code:
// Used for Column Layout (Grid Layout) add on module
$column = 0;
if (PRODUCT_LISTING_LAYOUT_STYLE == 'columns') {
//if ($num_products_count < PRODUCT_LISTING_COLUMNS_PER_ROW || PRODUCT_LISTING_COLUMNS_PER_ROW == 0 ) {
//$col_width = floor(100/$num_products_count) - 0.5;
//} else {
$col_width = floor(100/PRODUCT_LISTING_COLUMNS_PER_ROW) - 0.5;
//}
}
// Used for Column Layout (Grid Layout) add on module
$col_width = floor(100/PRODUCT_LISTING_COLUMNS_PER_ROW) - 0.5;
will automatically make all products width according to the per-row setting, so if you were to change it to 3 per row you would not need to re-edit the code.
Hi,
I just installed this mod to a 1.3.9c cart, with 3 columns and it looked like what I was trying to achieve (I will need to play with the spacing, but I have columns instead of rows).
However, if there is an excess of a multiple of 3, the products are right aligned and not left? Ive tried it on the classic template and it appears to be correct so Im assuming its my templates stylesheet. Could someone guide me to how to get the correct alignment please?
Example: http://nemesisgifts.co.uk/index.php?...ort=20a&page=4
Thankyou
I don't see a clear answer if this mod works with 1.3.9 so I will toss my two cents in the pot.
I installed this on a fresh 1.3.9d install and it seems to work fine and as expected
I did not test with php 5.3 (5.2.9)
For Product Listing, is there a way to line up the title, desc, price, and more info (add to cart button)?
The only post I found suggested using a fixed image height with width at 0, but even then some products have very horizontal width pics and it looks even worse. :no:
At the very least I would like to be able to align my price and More Info button.
Thanks :smile:
hey everyone I too would like to know how to set up my products listings in GRID.
im using zencart 1.39d and this is how my products look like right now http://hlcstore.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1
i was in ADMIN and Product listing but never found that option
wat shoul i do? i cant scan all 12 pages in this thread. can somebody help me? :oops:
Did you copy the files to your template folders?
Try double checking that you changed the names of the YOUR_TEMPLATE folders to the actual name of your template folders (includes/templates/yourtemplate). Its probably the most common mistake.
Another thing you could check is that you installed the SQL statement correctly, if at all.
If none of those are the problem, you may need to ask your website designer about it, they may have used some custom code that could be stopping it from working properly.
Hope that helps,
DB
Sorry, was late late when I was posting and was half asleep.
For the mod to work properly you need to install the SQL statement supplied with the mod. This will add the new bits to the database which will put the settings in the Admin.
What I meant by Website Designer, I was actually supposed to say Template designer. :S
Iīm also trying t install this addon but without success. Iīm using v1.3.9d but I hoped this contribution would work anyway.
My problem is that I canīt run the sql statement and the answer to that problem on page 4 in this thread didnīt help me.
Is there any solution to this?
Does this work correctly with 1.3.9e?
Any problems??
Hi,
Im trying to get this running on my site. Works ok on the default template but with template Im using the products still appear in one row (although it does change the format of the page to one narrow column rather than one wide column)
Any ideas?

Ok Found the problem was a spelling error in one of the folders I had created.
:huh:
I have this error on every product pages of my categories link. I tried install the add on it worker well with my 1st template. I uploaded a new template an error came up. I tried reintsalling zen cart and even the template, same error every time.
I'm using zc 1.3.8a / php v 5.2.9..

ZC 1.3.8a with column layout grid and single listing template.
After I installed these two mods, the listings, New, Featured and Specials have disappeared from my main page twice within the last couple of weeks and will magically reappear.
Other than adding new products, no changes are made to the listings or the mod settings handling them when this occurs, .
Has any one seen behavior when using both of these mods together?
http://minu.me/2sm4
NEVERMIND!
It's September and the last time this happened was after being moved to a new server. It's all about time.
DUH!
OK I give up. Someone please help. Ive read all 14 pages and can't solve my problem.
Website www.herbschina.com using 1.3.8a.
I installed the column/grid layout module . Installed the file for the module dir (created new in my custom folder) no problem.
Installed the file for the template dir (in my custom folder) no problem.
Did the sql cut and paste/submit routine and no error message.
Result is 1 COLUMN ONLY. centered and loOks great. BUT ADMIN IS SET FOR COLUMN LAYOUT 3 COLUMNS. I TRIED 2 AND 4 COLUMNS WITH THE SAME RESULT.
I reinstalled the mod from scratch several times and still the same.
What is my problem???????????
You are getting the grid layout for the individual products, but also the headings for the row layout. This means that one of the mod files is not in the correct folder. What are the exact paths to both files?
Thanks for the quick reply. Files are as follows.
product_listing.php is in /public_html/zen/includes/modules/Custom-green shade
tpl_modules_product_listing.php /public_html/zen/includes/templates/Custom -green shade/templates
gjh42, r u there?
Can u help, please?
Are your custom folders named /Custom-green shade/ or /Custom -green shade/? Either way, spaces in file/folder names can cause problems in many programs. It is a standard web recommendation to use only lowercase letters, numbers, and perhaps _ or - in file/foldernames.
Thanks. I think best is to uninstall the Mod including the sql and then download a fresh copy and start from scratch.
i started from scratch and it worked.
Now one final question. How can I put in a horizontal line between rows or a box around each product???
You can use borders, or another add-on, column divider pro.
http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=945
Not sure where to post this, since I have CLG and Single Listing Template installed, but I have been unable to add additional rows to the 3 columns I have.
I can't find a setting anywhere.
Thank you,
Stephen
Hi there,
I recently upgraded from 1.3.9d to 1.3.9h and added Column Layout Grid for Product Listing. It worked great (3 columns) but I am having trouble with below...
1) My product description text (between Title and Price) shows like below:
Item Title
(Whole sentence
is showing in this section.
long, long description
that is pushing Price
waaay down and making
this horrible)
Price
...more info
Can anybody tell me how I could delete (or shorten) the display of this Description part so when customer clicks the item, they could read whole sentence in the product page?
2)As above shows, "...more info" is too far from the Price. I've seen two <br /> after Price and before "...more info" in view source page. Could someone tell me which file (& which part) to delete one of the <br /> so that it is right below the Price? (if that is the solution for this)
Any help will be appreciated. :smile:
Thanks!
I found it! Go to... Product Listing --> Display Product Description and set the number to "10" (or any other length...) and now it shows "This product..." at Product Listing :smile:
If I only could find the solution for moving up the "...more info" close to the price... Anybody?
Thanks in advance.
Hi all I have read though all 15 pages and not come across my problem
I have installed it on my test site and all was OK
I then tried on my actual site and it doesn't install properly
uploaded picture as My site is working .but that is how it looks
pic included
then when I go to config/product listing/layout style all I get is this
pic included
thanks for any help
Could I be Le Dunce du Jour and ask what side of a grid box each of those four settings addresses? I did some Googling and found this:
'margin-top', 'margin-right', 'margin-bottom', and 'margin-left'but (since what I wanted was to increase vertical spacing between the rows of my grid), when I modified my stylesheet.css file with this line,
margin: 2em 0em 10em 0em;there was no difference whatsoever. Am I correct to assume the third value is the bottom value? I actually fiddled with all four values, coming up with several different combinations, and they never produced any kind of spacing or padding.
Clearly I'm lacking a basic understanding of something here...
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Gary
Hi there,
My problem was that whole length of my product description was showing between Item Title and Price at 3 colums/3 rows of my Product Listing page. I thought it was because of the mod but it was simply I didn't set number correctly at the Admin Console :P
I went to Configuration -->Product Listing --> choose "Display Product Description" and changed length of characters to "10" (or any length) instead of "150" so the short sentence will be shown at the Product Listing.
/includes/modules/your_template/product_listing.php.
The breaks are scattered through a very complex bit of code with various options for price element display depending on the existence of sales, specials, etc., and add to cart options. They ought to have been coded so that the break would only display if its element is present, but it is what it is now.
I used
.listingDescription {
padding-left: 10px;
padding-right: 10px;
}
posted by seethrou in other thread to fix my space problem (I increased px for mine) but hope this works for you.
I also tried below code as he posted (to reduce the space between the title and "...more info") but it didn't work for me...
.centerBoxContentsProducts .itemTitle {
margin-bottom: -1em;
}
I am not 100% sure but I am looking for <br /> location to reduce the space between the price and "...more info". I see 2 <br /> from the source view... (or there maybe other way to reduce this space).
I'm quite sorry to bug everyone again, but I've gone up and down through every pertinent post here, investigated in all the suggested files, experimented with modifications and basically tried everything I could think of, but still can't get this done. I was optimistic when I saw posts 6 & 7 of this thread suggest this addition to the stylesheet.css file:
.listingProductImage {but that modification produced no difference whatsoever, no matter what values I put in there.
margin: 2em 0em 0em 0em;
}
Can someone please suggest a method by which I can increase the vertical spacing between rows of a grid? I have ZC 1.3.9, if that helps. :frusty:
Hi there,
I just fixed my space problem.
I added following to my override stylesheet file:
.listingDescription {
padding-left: 25 px;
padding-right: 25 px;
}
.itemTitle {
padding-left: 25 px;
padding-right: 25px;
}
#productListing br {
line-height: 0;
}
.listingProductImage {
margine: 2em 0em 0em 0em;
}
It might be different px for some people but above worked for me. I added these because all the great people in this forum posted each one in separate threads related to space issue (so I added each one to my css). Great forum :smile:
I have just downloaded and tried to install this addon :
http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...products_id=77
I have 1.3.9.g version of zen cart.
and when i run sql script through my admin:
INSERT INTO configuration (configuration_title, configuration_key, configuration_value,
configuration_description, configuration_group_id, sort_order,
last_modified, date_added, use_function, set_function)
VALUES ('Product Listing - Layout Style', 'PRODUCT_LISTING_LAYOUT_STYLE', 'rows',
'Select the layout style:<br />Each product can be listed in its own row (rows option)
or products can be listed in multiple columns per row (columns option)', '8', '40', NULL,
now(), NULL, 'zen_cfg_select_option(array("rows", "columns"),');
INSERT INTO configuration (configuration_title, configuration_key, configuration_value,
configuration_description, configuration_group_id, sort_order,
last_modified, date_added, use_function, set_function)
VALUES ('Product Listing - Columns Per Row', 'PRODUCT_LISTING_COLUMNS_PER_ROW', '3',
'Select the number of columns of products to show in each row in the product listing.
The default setting is 3.', '8', '41', NULL, now(), NULL, NULL);
and I get this error:
1062 Duplicate entry 'PRODUCT_LISTING_LAYOUT_STYLE' for key 2
in:
[INSERT INTO configuration (configuration_title, configuration_key, configuration_value, configuration_description, configuration_group_id, sort_order, last_modified, date_added, use_function, set_function) VALUES ('Product Listing - Layout Style', 'PRODUCT_LISTING_LAYOUT_STYLE', 'rows', 'Select the layout style:<br />Each product can be listed in its own row (rows option) or products can be listed in multiple columns per row (columns option)', '8', '40', NULL, now(), NULL, 'zen_cfg_select_option(array("rows", "columns"),');]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.
what is it about and how can I change it?anyone installed this addon before?
thanks:-)
I just searched and found that this error is because I already ran such script before...Another uestion I would like to ask is:
I was just customising the look of my product listing page and in Admin I have selectedroduct Listing-Layout Style (its value was rows) and I just wanted to see what happens if I try to change it... I clicked on "update" and then "edit" and it changed itself to blank...THere was nothing available to edit it but somehow it has change itself and now my product listing is empty. it looks like this:
Any ideas why it went that way?Please help to change it back:-)
TIA
the look is in this jpg file...
these are my admin view: when I go to layout style i see
10.jpg and then after i choose update, i get 9.jpg and that is it...there is no choice of options. how can I change it back to rows or make the columlar grid work for me?...any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.
Hi again,
I had a closer look on my problem and discovered that if I upload the new product_listing.php to ZEN_CART_HOME_DIR/includes/modules/YOURTEMPLATE/product_listing.php then I have this problem that my listing is empty. If I delete this file but still upload the new tpl_modules_product_listing.php to:
ZEN_CART_HOME_DIR/includes/templates/YOURTEMPLATE/templates/tpl_modules_product_listing.php then everything works but shows as before in rows. I assume that something is wrong with the file product_listing.php in my case. If I upload both files I get blank listing. Maybe anybody may have any idea what could be wrong here?..
Thanks in advance
this is EXACTLY what I'm going through. thanks for that picture ms_x, that is EXACTLY what I see, there are no radio buttons to choose between rows or columns and i see that <br/> instead of the going to the next line. i am using 1.3.9g.
any ideas please? :) thanks in advance!
hi Ms_X. i got it resolved!! this is how i did it. are you comfortable working on phpmyadmin?
1) i went to phpmyadmin
2) click your zen cart database
3) select the 'zen_configuration' table
4) go to the last page of that table
5) look for the entry that says "Product Listing - Layout Style"
6) on the last column of that entry, you will see something gibberish
7) remove what's in there and change it with
zen_cfg_select_option(array('rows','columns'),
hope that helps! worked for me! :)
ok, if that is hard to follow, this is the easier way to do it.
use this first command instead of the one from the file we downloaded. it's almost the same as the original, THE ONLY DIFFERENCE is that i changed the DOUBLE QUOTES TO SINGLE QUOTES for the rows and columns. the reason for the gibberish entry was because of that DOUBLE QUOTES.
INSERT INTO configuration (configuration_title, configuration_key, configuration_value,
configuration_description, configuration_group_id, sort_order,
last_modified, date_added, use_function, set_function)
VALUES ('Product Listing - Layout Style', 'PRODUCT_LISTING_LAYOUT_STYLE', 'rows',
'Select the layout style:<br />Each product can be listed in its own row (rows option)
or products can be listed in multiple columns per row (columns option)', '8', '40', NULL,
now(), NULL, 'zen_cfg_select_option(array('rows', 'columns')');
Hi mayleine, thanks a lot for your answer:-)I am happy to hear it worked for you. I have tried what you said using phpadmin but the result is still same. In adminof zencart I have all the same as before,just insted of previous text with <br> I have:
zen_cfg_select_option(array('rows','columns')
I have changed two fields in phpadmin:configuration_description and set_function, as you suggested I put there "zen_cfg_select_option(array('rows','columns')"
It is still not working :-(I don't know what would be wrong there though. If you have any suggestions, I will be very thankful:-)And thanks again for writing me about your solution:-)
Hi Ms_X,
It's not working because the only entry you have to change is the set_function column. no need to change the entry under the configuration_description column. i don't think i said that. if you can get the entry on the configuration_description back to its original entry, good. the replacement entry on the set_function column is:
zen_cfg_select_option(array('rows','columns'),
i notice you left the comma at the end. that comma is very important for the sql command to work. otherwise, it really won't work, that's why you see that on your admin.
PS: in case you don't have a copy of the original entry on the configuration_description column: i checked my phpadmin and here's mine. i can only wish it's the same for both of us.
Select the layout style:<br />Each product can be listed in its own row (rows option) or products can be listed in multiple columns per row (columns option)
I have another solution if this won't work and that means running the delete command in the file that we downloaded and starting from the very beginning. Instead of using the first entry with the double quotes, change it with the code that I sent.
here's my site and I am now working to get the featured products show like this grid. :)
Hi mayleine:-)Thank you very very much for your answer:-)It is all working now:clap:I do not know what would I do without your help:-)
Your website looks very nice to me, I like it,it is good when people do what they enjoy doing:-)All the best with the shop:-) I will try to customise the look of the listing now, like 4 columns by 4 rows:-)
:clap: Yehey, it worked for you!!! Glad to help!!
And already I have got some questions:-) How do u make your listing to show 3 columns and 3 rows? 3 columns setting I have found,but for the rows...How can I show the price under the name of the product? ANd the last thing is: on the attachment u can see strange words on top :"Help " and "Product image"...Where can I get rid of these two?...thanks again:-)
attachment:-)
If I set in Product listing-->Display Product Price/Add to Cart 1 then I see price and Buy now...But I don't want to see buy now...how can I not display it?:-)
i can probably just answer 1 question right now since i'm already very sleepy coming from a night job, hehe :)
how to set the number of rows? it would depend on the maximum number of products you want to show per page.
Configuration> Maximum Values > Products Listing- Number Per Page
So if you set that value to 9, you'll get 3 rows and 3 columns.
I can understand u,even though i don't work at night,but i have 2 small kids so some night are sleepless for us :-)max value is 12,but as u can see from my pic, they are all shown in one column in the center...hm by the way why in the center of the page?:)
For all the other questions, i think it's just a matter of changing the values under the Configuration> Product Listing.
I don't want to deprive you that joy of finding the answer on your own. :) :D
thanks i will look around the settings:-)
Just looked in admin,everything looks fine there,I guess I have to edit stylesheet file.I have found code in css file,which relates to listing:
.productListing{
border:none;
border-top:1px dashed #21303c;
}
.productListing-odd{
margin-bottom:5px;
border:1px solid #EEE;
padding:3px 3px;
background:#F9FAFC;
}
.productListing-even{
margin-bottom:5px;
border:1px solid #EEE;
padding:3px 3px;
}
.productListing-rowheading{
height:25px;
background:#21303c;
color:#FFF;
font-weight:bold;
}
.productListing-heading{
vertical-align:middle;
}
.productListing-heading a,.productListing-heading a:link,.productListing-heading a:visited{
color:#FFF;
text-decoration:none;
}
productListing-heading a:hover,.productListing-heading a:active{
color:#FFF;
text-decoration:underline;
}
.specialsListBoxContents{
margin-top:15px;
font-size:12px;
float:left;
}
.current{
font-weight:bold;
color:#FFF;
background:#21303c;
}
I just wanted to ask maybe anyone knows how can I make price look bold and my columns look fine,not just 1 column in the middle of the page(setting in admin:columns 3,products per page:12)...and where(which file can I find "Help
Product Image
ITEM DETAILS-
Price" from the header of the listing...
TIA
Sorry for so many uestions...how can I make all products,new products and on sale product listings look columlar as well?
Thanks:-)
I ran into the same issue and have gotten it cleared up some. with the debugging activated (enable_error_logging.php) found Division by 0 ....includes/classes/split_page_results.php on line 76
$this->number_of_pages = ceil($this->number_of_rows / $this->number_of_rows_per_page);
so this was in Configuration: Product Listing:
Product Listing - Layout Style columns
Product Listing - Columns Per Row 4
changed to
Product Listing - Columns Per Row 3
and it corrected the error and products showing again as they should. if I increase the per row to greater then 3 I get the SQL error.
still learning of the various options for display and not sure why can't have more then 3 columns, the images are large and 3 is ok for now till I get more comfortable with mod.
hope this helps someone else that sees the above

i know i'm quoting a super old post, but i ran into this too and thought i would share my way around it. no idea if it's the best way to go, but it worked for me, and i did it all in css.
first i added a new line in my css-
that got rid of all the brakes, but made the other bits in the class=centerBoxContentsProducts line up.Code:.centerBoxContentsProducts br{
display:none;
}
however, lucky for me, all of the fields in the center box have their own classes, so it was just a matter of making a second entry in my css file-
and it all behaved how i wanted, no extra spaces between lines.Code:.normalprice,.productSalePrice,.etcetera{
display:block;
}
i'm pretty new to all of this though, there may very well be a better way to go around it. i just wanted a way to do it without going into the php.

Hello,
I am having an odd problem. I installed the mod, and it works and shows great only and only if I have at least two products in a category. But, if I have only one product in a category, it shows as though I wouldn't have installed the mod, like if I were using the zencart default product listing.
Any ideas?
THanks
@ekon79 - Do you have a url where it can be seen.
Normally when you have only one product in a category, instead of the product showing as a listing in a category, you would normally go straight to that product page instead of the product listing page.
please please please help !!
I have posted this question in a few places but still havent found out what to do :(
In the categories box i have sub categories but these have alot of space around them how do i get rid of this ?

this is starting to get very frustrating so any help would be really appreciated
Marie :smile:
Sorry, I don't understand the question. I'm seeing three across in your product listing now.
Do the spaces happen in the classic template? Has this issue always been there? If no when did it start? What version of zen cart?
Im not sure as i have inherited the site version is 1.3.9:smile:
under my sub categories the products are in rectangular boxes with the image, decription and price :smile:
But at the moment they are listing one under the other i would like two across the page

Hi macbain,
You could try setting the width of each product in the stylesheet by doing something like this. (play with the width and height a bit to get it right for your site):
Code:.centerBoxContentsProducts {
border: 1px solid #0a7376;
margin-top: 10px;
margin-left: 5px;
max-width:200px;
min-height:200px;
}
Have a play around with something like that and see if it helps. You may need to add padding, but have a go anyway.
Hope this helps you.

I put in exactly what you said and the only bit its picking up is the border :(

Moderator's note - macbain - your multiple threads have all been merged here. Please DO NOT post the same problem in different forums. It only makes life harder for those that are trying to help.
Since the product widths are set inline in the HTML, they will take precedence over ordinary stylesheet rules. Add !important to get the stylesheet to take precedence:
Code:.centerBoxContentsProducts {
...
width:200px !important;
Ok, I had a good look and cant figure it out.
I am thinking that maybe a clash with the Flexible Product Listing add-on. I have looked at a few different ways to change the look of it and the below seems to work well and looks good.
Code:.centerBoxContentsProducts {
border: 0px solid #0a7376;
border-bottom:1px dashed #888888;
}
Put it in place of the other code and see what you think. It wont do what you were asking but will change the look to be a bit softer, which if im reading this right, it what your after.Code:#productListing {
border:1px solid #888888;
margin-top: 10px;
padding:3px;
-webkit-border-radius: 5px;
-moz-border-radius: 5px;
border-radius: 5px;
}
All the best

If you have Column Grid (either standard or the Flexible Product Listing version) in columns mode, you should not be seeing the table-cell elements in the listing's view source. That is a symptom of not having the mod's version of /includes/templates/your_template/templates/tpl_modules_product_listing.php in the correct place.
To be honest, i didnt even look at the source code, I just went straight to the css. I probably could have saved myself and the OP some time if looking in the right place.
Lesson learned :)
You would have to be familiar with the stock and Column Grid versions of the output to recognize the difference... and have worked with the product listing files to know what the difference meant.
Hi Dropbop
Thankyou for your help I would like something simular to what you suggest but would like all the products in their own boxes just with some space around them :smile:
Ghia : i have put the file in the includes/templates/zct adult and lingerie 16/modules folder and also tried includes/templates/default_template/templates but neither seem to work:frusty:
thanks
Marie
Look for /includes/templates/your_template/templates/tpl_modules_product_listing.php. Is it in the correct location? Does it look the same as the copy in the Flexible Product Listing / Column Grid package?
the path that its in doesnt have another templates folder
includes/templates/your_templates/templates/tpl_modules_product_listing.php
i have :
includes/templates/zct adult and lingerie 16/modules/tpl_modules_product_listing.php
Marie
There is no such thing as includes/templates/zct adult and lingerie 16/modules/ in any correct folder path. That file should be in
includes/templates/zct adult and lingerie 16/templates/
Hi, guys!
Anybody can tell how to remove it from my zencart ? I mean remove it , not only the files but also remove it from my SQL database. ( I only found the install sql file,column_layout_grid.sql)
I installed column_layout_grid_v_1_3_8 on 1.3.9h, it's looks great, but it is not full compatibility with IE browsers 6.
Thanks
