The sure way to check it is to go to admin/includes/module_installation/ssu/current_version.txt
Anyhow, just looking at that url im pretty sure you have to update. Consider 3.5.8 or 3.6.0 :)

Unless you update and still have the problem, I can not give any further help.
Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]
Ok, mine was 3.5.1 for some reason. Got the 3.5.8 from your site and that fixed the problem. Thank you!
Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]
Thanks Yellow, I will make the changes that you recommended.
I have another potential problem with the 3.6.0 version. When I open it in a browser that doesn't already have a cookie to the site or that hasn't been to the site yet it hangs up. I tried opening it in Safari and here's the message I get:
[FONT=Lucida Grande]Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://www.xxxxx.com/?zenid=f755143d9f6e3a267a31172d1eb497eb”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.[/FONT]
I have link aliases set to auto and true, I reset Cache All after making my changes in the configuration menu.
Go to c u s t o m d r u m s h o p d o t c o m and see if it loads for you.
It also has some weirdness going on. I was going around making changes to config settings and resetting the cache a number of times after trying to get the " and & thing sorted, and all of a sudden the categories ID was showing even though the auto link alias is on and aliases are set to true. I tried it on another system to make sure it wasn't some weird browser cache thing and it was the same. It seems as if SSU went a bit haywire when too many config changes/cache clearing happened. I had to completely uninstall SSU and then the module manager and then reinstall to get it to work correctly again, for some reason module manager wouldn't recognize that SSU had been removed as per the uninstall directions on the SSU web page and I had to scrub both mods from the database before I could get everything working right.
Anyway, I don't know if the above problem is a glitch in the code or just isolated weirdness on my highly modified ZC, but I thought I'd pass it along.

I will look into the zenid problem you mention, seem like a serious problem if it does actually happens
Edit: Tried on Safari and Opera, couldnt recreate it.
I will try again once we move the site to a domain without any sub folder and see if it affects anything at all.
Can anyone using 3.6.0 try to test this on your own site?
For the second problem, you may want to look into the alias manager and see if those aliases are not disabled.
Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]
3.6.0 RC5 is now available
- Minor bug fix
- Added Permanent Link, this will prevent SSU to automatically change your current link-alias when you have auto-alias on.
This new feature was added out of necessity. I have an ezpage with the title "frequently asked questions" but I want the link to simply be faq. SSU doesnt like that, it automatically changes the alias for me (so smart :p), so I add this new option.
Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]
Would this permanent link feature also prevent the auto alias function to create a new url when I edit the products title?
Re: Simple SEO URL [support thread]
I downloaded and installed the files from the zip named ssu_beta_3.6.0(ReleaseCandidate5)(php5)
I went to admin>extras>simple seo url manager and clicked on "reset all cache"
I went to admin>config>simple seo url and set the ssu status to "true"
When I went to my website and clicked on a category link I get the following error:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8i DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.syzygypens.com Port 80
I set the ssu status back to "false" and now my website is just stuck on the home page. Any link I click on just loops me back to the home page.
Any help as to what I have done wrong would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

Exactly what it is for. Remember permanent link has to be set manually per link right now.

I would assume that you havent set your htaccess setting, or you set it wrong.
