Re: ozpost shipping module
Rod
I'm upgrading ZenCart from 1.3.9h to 1.5.4 and have included ozpost V3.6.0.
With V3.5.4 in the ozpost configuration menu the "Subscription Days remaining ... " link and the "test the ozpost servers" link are displayed after the "Enabled" indicator.
These links are not displaying with my configuration and ozpost V3.6.0.
Is this a feature of V3.6.0 or do I have a problem?
Cheers
Bailey
Re: ozpost shipping module
Hi Rod,
Thanks for the reply.
All servers are connecting as they should, so that's all good.
As you mentioned I've narrowed it down to one particular courier service, disabling them means quotes are returned as they should too. I've emailed the couriers in question and am currently awaiting a response to see if they are able to narrow things down.
Hopefully this won't be too long a wait...
Cheers,
Iain

Apparently you have a problem.
I've no idea what would cause this, but I'd suggest that you perform a remove/install of the module by clicking on the relevant buttons in the shipping configuration menu, as this tends to clear up many 'strange' problems.

Fresh install indicates a permissions problem when ozpost is trying to copy and install files. Error at top of ZC Shiping Modules screen is:
"Unable to create temporary files. ClickNSend will be non functional and you will be unable to enter product dimensions until this is rectified
Error Installation FAILED
Success Work files saved in E:/Web/MYSTORENAME/cache/ozpost/
Files in the cache folder are: includes/languages/english.php
includes/templates/MYTEMPLATE/templates/tpl_modules_shipping_estimator.php
No ozpost files are install in admin area.
Debug logs show:
PHP Warning: mkdir(): Invalid argument in E:\Web\bmhstore154\includes\modules\shipping\ozpost.php on line 3099
What changes permissions / access to which folders does ozpost require to install on windows?
Environment: Windows 8; WAMP 2.5; Apache 2.4.9; PHP 5.5.12;

Found thread http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.p...72#post1254572 via Google and implemented code changes.
ozpost prompted for update to 3.6.2 - so performed that.
Top of screen looks like this but I can live with it.

Upgrading ozpost 3.5.4 to 3.6.2 on test site
Rod
FYI
Upgraded ozpost 3.5.4 to 3.6.2 on test site
Error generated was:
Possible error updating the template file. If you experience problems please replace
E:/web/STORE/includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_modules_shipping_estimator.php
with a zencart original and try again.
The file is identical to zc original.
ozpost appears to work ok.
The subscription reminder for this version also sits above the list of all Shipping modules rather than in the Ozpost Multiquote column.

Upgrading ZC from 1.3.9h to 1.5.4 with ozpost
Rod
I am still persevering with ozpost on Windows. Even with the changes to ozpost.php to allow for the forward slash /backslash issue I am still getting the following error:
Error Unable to create temporary files. ClickNSend will be non functional and you will be unable to enter product dimensions until this is rectified
Error Installation FAILED
Any ideas on what files I can manually install?

I'm afraid I can't offer much help here at the moment as I don't have a working Windows environment for testing/debugging.
Also, until the /cache/ folder is writable there aren't any files that you can manually install other than the two main ones (/languages/modules/shipping/ozpost.php and /includes/modules/shipping/ozpost.php).
If/when the /cache/ folder is writable the ozpost installation code will create/modify all of its needed files and place them into a folder /cache/ozpost/ before eventually moving them to their correct locations. If you can get to the stage where these files are created but can't be copied THEN you'll be able to use the cached files for a manual install.
The instructions in the link previously discussed is supposed to make this /cache/ folder writable on a Windows machine so before looking any further I strongly suggest that you double check the needed changes.

Re: ozpost shipping module
Hi Rod,
Just an update to my earlier posts; I'm still getting quote errors when using our courier service, but I'm waiting for a call back to try and solve this issue, so hopefully this will be sorted soon.
I have noticed that Transdirect also return quotes from TNT when using their website directly, but this isn't an option within Ozpost under Transdirect, is this something that can be added to the code at some point please?
Thanks,
Iain
