Hi Conor,

A nice touch would be to have a configurable side-box with the Secured by Protx, Mastercard SecureCode, Verified by Visa, Cards accepted etc. etc. logos in it.

I modified one of the ones already in the downloads section for my store but it would be pretty good for new users if this came bundled.

That would be possible, even to the extent that it could use only the logos for the cards which are enabled in the Protx Direct module's admin configuration.

However, as with all Zen Cart payment modules, it is possible to enable the module only for particular zones. Should the sidebox then also be disabled if the customer currently logged in isn't in that zone? If so, which address should be checked to determine that if they haven't selected a shipping address yet?

If it was to be a sidebox which was displayed on a blanket level, that is, regardless of where the customer is from, to simply always be displayed, then it could be added and might be a nice option.

What does anyone else think? :huh:

I would go with that. Realistically the box just adds a more professional touch and we should also be advertising the fact our stores are 3D compliant.

I am using protx direct 3.0 and have been trying to test, but errors have been being produced. Spoke to protx and it turns out that they have upgraded the test server. The details that you have to enter now are different.

Here is a link to the new test numbers you require which include address and postcode numerics.

A note to Conor : Due to this will it be possible to change the test data you supply at the top of the module in admin.
