Column Layout Grid for Product Listing

I just installed a new cart 139h but the Product Listing -Layout style does not appea
Has anyone ever come across this before ? :huh::huh:

Hello, I have successfully added the mod,

However, I would like to find a way to align the buy it now buttons so that they are all on the same horizontal axis.

Undoubtedly the answer is to place the buttons themselves into a divs and then align them with CSS, but I cannot read php well I was wondering if someone would show me and perhaps even place all the attributes into divs so that we may upload the new php file for future use.

Please help.

Is there a way to alter the order of the items in the individual 'cells'? Right now it's:

Product Image
Product Price
Product Description (more info link)
Product Name

I'd like to put the product's name on top. I did read an earlier post mentioning being able to set a sort order for these items in Admin->Configuration->Product Listing however, all I see is the ability to turn their display on or off.

That page allows you to turn the items off by setting them to 0, or give them a sort order by setting them to some number.

OK, I found what works in another thread. Still, I would like very much to know why this works!

It seems to me that the text in the admin area could change to be a little more helpful. As it is, one is asked, "Do you want to display the Product Price/Add to Cart".

May I suggest, "In what order would you like to display the Product Price/Add to Cart? 0 = off."

How would one know that one may sort from that list?

There are plenty of admin items whose wording could be improved. The developers are reportedly revamping the admin as part of the v2.0 code rewrite, so posting your suggestions in the Code Suggestions forum might be helpful.

I posted this question about 6 weeks ago in the online group pricing thread, but have yet to receive a reply. I am hoping that since I installed column layout grid first, someone in this thread might be able to help.

I haven't found any other files that both mods make changes to, but I could be wrong, it happens frequently. I also followed the instructions and downloaded winmerge, followed Dr. Bytes thread for that, but still can't figure out how to make these two files live as one. Quite frankly, I am petrified.:shocking: They could both be making changes to the same line of code and I wouldn't know what to do with it.

Have you or anyone out there, used these two modules together? If so; please help. I really want the layout back the way it was before online group pricing, but I have to have the functionality of online group pricing.

I would suggest comparing both mods' versions of product_listing.php with the stock version to see which one changes fewer lines of code (call this one "a"). Then note exactly which lines are changed in this one, and go to the same relative location in the other one ("b") to see if it is different from stock. If not, you can most likely swap the "a" line into "b" here. If they both change the same line, you may need to ask for help.

I have installed column layout grid on my website and it seems to be working good.

but i want the DESCRIPTION to be in a BOX or a MATRIX or a different GRID. in some products , the description looks good, but in some other products, the description looks very bad.

so, i want the description to be under the main image.

i just want the main image on left side, and attributes and add to cart button on the right hand side of the main image and the description to just under the main image, just as on this website: http://www.hugocruzgallery.com/produ...otography.html
